Ach, eerlijkheid gaat altijd boven alles.
Ik had het ook kunnen melden na de veiling en in dat opzicht ben ik dus geen goede handelaar. En zoals ik al zei, als het waar is, dan is het inderdaad een zeldzaam exemplaar.
Ik ben echter ook een verzamelaar, dus ook al heb ik 2 exemplaren, ik weet nog niet of ik hem verkoop. Een verzamelaar kan heel moeilijk afstand doen van items uit zijn collectie.
Verder zitten er hele mooie kavels in deze veiling (eigenlijk elke week wel). Mijn portemonnaie laat dat helaas niet toe, maar wel leuk om zo toch strips te zien die je niet altijd te zien krijgt.

Vanmiddag is Veiling 9 gepubliceerd en zijn de kijkdagen begonnen.
Kijkers hebben over enkele kavels al een aantal opmerkingen gemaakt. Deze opmerkingen zijn direct verwerkt bij de kavels. Hartelijk dank voor het goed gebruik maken van de kijkdagen en het bijdragen aan de kwaliteit van de beschrijving van de kavels.
Vele vragen werden er gesteld over de Suske en Wiske kleurboeken (7 en 117). Het zijn weinig bekende items en men wil graag meer weten over de binnenkant. Er zijn nu een aantal foto's extra bijgeplaatst.
In deze kavellijst zitten duistere zaken opgesloten zoals: De duistere diamant in De Baeke uitvoering en een softcover in 2e druk, tevens De zwarte madam. Maar wat dacht je van een Black/White statue van Batman.
Een helder tegenwicht geeft de Dick Bos uitgave Glashard, een veel gezocht reclameuitgave. Voor de geestelijk verlichting is de complete serie Boeddha ingebracht.
Niet onvermeld mogen blijven de catalogus "Houdt u van stripverhalen" vol met tekeningen van Franquin/Guust en het boekje "De beste kartoens van Sinterklaas".
Ook de veilingmeester heeft weer iets geleerd, namelijk flockprint. Kijk maar eens naar de kavel met Franquin ansichtkaarten.
In deze kavellijst zitten antiquarische boeken van o.a. Suske en Wiske, Kuifje, Blake & Mortimer, Baard en Kale, Lombard collectie, e.a. Daarnaast natuurlijk ook vele originelen, zowel pagina's als schetsen en tekeningen.
Ook complete series als Largo Winch, Lanfeust van de Sterren, XIII in houten box.
De veiling wordt vrijdag om 12.00 opengesteld voor het bieden.
Maandag sluit de eerste kavel om 20.00 uur.
Door de tijd tussen de kavels iets te verkorten, sluit de laatste kavel om 22.30 uur.

Ik heb even gekeken in mijn exemplaren van "De avonturen van een vader en zijn zoon", maar daar stond deze aflevering niet in. Ik heb de nummers 1, 3, 5, 6, 9 en 10. Waarschijnlijk staat het dan in een van de nummers 2, 4, 7 of 8.
Elke pagina is genummerd. Bij bijna alle staat het nummer in het eerste vak. Misschien dat dat kan helpen. Ik kan zo het nummer op de drukplaat niet lezen.

Is in elk geval de voorlaatste pagina in deel 8 van de Adhemar-uitgave. Als de edities van Het Volk dezelfde indeling hebben is hij dus uit 1963 (of 1971, maar ik betwijfel of ze toen nog in boekdruk werden gedrukt).
Voor het drukprocedé kun je googlen op Boekdruk (dit is bv. een aardige korte uitleg). Voor een goed begrip zou je eens een drukkerij moeten bezoeken die nog een degelpers in gebruik heeft. Klein familiedrukwerk (zoals geboortekaartjes en overlijdensberichten) wordt sporadisch nog daarop gedrukt. (Misschien kun je daar zelfs nog deze strippagina laten afdrukken.)

For the printing process you can google on Book Printing ( this is a nice short explanation, for example). For a good understanding, you should visit a printer that still uses a platen press. Small family printed matter (such as birth announcements and obituaries) is still printed on it sporadically. (Maybe you can even have this comic page printed there.)

De kijkdagen waren blijkbaar toch net te kort. We kregen de melding dat de originele kleurentekening van Romano Molenaar niet Conan betreft, maar de held Slaine.
De hoogste bieder in geïnformeerd, we wachten zijn reactie af.

Vandaag zijn er 2 veilingen gepubliceerd. De eerste loopt zoals gewoonlijk af op maandagavond en de andere op de woensdagavond.
Vanuit particulieren werd er dusdanig veel gevraagd om ook te mogen aanbieden op de stripveiling, dat we dit nu gehonoreerd hebben. De bovenste kavels worden aangeboden door bedrijfsmatige aanbieders en de onderste helft door particulieren.
De bedrijsmatige verkopers zijn te herkennen aan het pro icoontje, die ze alleen krijgen indien er een KvK en/of BTW nummer bij ons bekend is.
Van de particuliere verkopers hebben we alle adresgegevens en een scan van het ID-bewijs in ons bezit.
Als je op de veiling komt, zie je linksboven 2 linkjes staan voor Maandag og Woensdag. Je komt in principe op de veiling die het eerste gaat sluiten, maar je kunt moeiteloos tussen de 2 veilingen schakelen.
Het is altijd moeilijk om een paar speciale kavels te noemen, dan doe je eigenlijk onrecht aan alle overige kavels. Maar vooruit, omdat mensen toch iets willen horen:
