A while ago I received a negative feedback, because a new user believes that a seller should ship the item first and pay afterwards.

If a novice user provides negative feedback, indicating that they do not understand the sales system properly, it should be possible for you to cancel it.

Incorrectly given feedback can be removed again

I have noticed that I have not received any feedback from the last 15 sales.

From the latest posts on this forum I understand that the buyer will receive a feedback request before receiving the article.

If the item is then delivered after about a week, the buyer has long forgotten the request for a feedback.

My request is therefore:

After placing the box by the seller: - sent - then send a request for feedback to the buyer.

Hopefully this can be adjusted by the programmers.

Mr Greetings

bertcock

@ Dick52

I do not understand you, as a seller you can still not give feedback if the buyer has not given feedback first ...

Dear Dick,

You have not properly understood and read my request, not the seller but the buyer should of course give feedback.

@ Morrits and betcock

my complaint is that I wanted to order something 3 times

first time was already difficult:

response:

You can order it via my email, so outside of Catawiki.

second order

response:

Someone will pick up all the singles I still had tomorrow.
I didn't want to take them away from the shop until after that gentleman came by, but now I realize I better do it immediately. My apologies for the inconvenience.

third time

response:

Dear Dick,

You have just ordered something from our store on Catawiki.

Thank you for your order. You can view the orders via the following link:
http://www.catawiki.nl

Sincerely,

Item removed from the site and re-posted for a much higher 50x

all mails sent will not be edited.

I myself have sold an album twice

1 time to someone who happened to be looking for that album and accidentally came across Catawiki.

and once

someone who is a member of Catawiki

went perfectly

but the top three I meant.

clear?

I hear your response

gr

Dick

Number two is clearly a shame, stupid bad luck, doesn't deserve a beauty prize, but can happen.

However, trying to seal off sales outside of Catawiki is fraudulent against the rules, and what number three is trying is very stupid and ugly. I don't know if negative feedback is the right solution for this. Seems more like a one-way ticket to the exit.

again, as a seller you cannot give feedback to a buyer. In your case, you are the buyer and could therefore give feedback to the seller, right?

@ Morits

I think it's better not to be able to give feedback until the seller has set a transaction to "shipped". That means that the transaction has actually taken place.

Now as a buyer you can place an order, give feedback and then cancel the purchase. In the meantime, there is feedback and if you hate a seller, give him nice negative feedback and you as a seller can not do anything about it.

I can no longer give feedback

not sold through catawiki

other buyer

article reposted 50x & gt; while I received price confirmation for the original item.

hence my comment!

then it becomes a "marketplace"

As Pegag also indicates: this is indeed not allowed, see also the regulations for sellers, and a reason to close this shop. Let's talk about this via email, Dick.

Hi I want to give (positive) feedback but when I click on my orders in my profile I get the message "You have not placed any orders with Catawiki shops".

Could this be because it was a daily offer?
I ordered the item on Monday and today it has arrived.

Thanks in advance for the answers

Feedback requests are still sent for the daily offer. We have to do something technically special for that. Thank you for being satisfied by the way.

Rene,

those feedbacks for daily offers got stuck somewhere.

"Cannot be given (yet)"

Is what I see when I want to give good FB to my seller, for an item that has been in for 2 days!

I now also understand why as a seller I get so little FB!

Thumbs down!!

@kringes
"Cannot be given (yet)"

That may be correct. As long as the seller has not changed the status to Sent, the buyer cannot give feedback yet. That can be different than only after a few weeks. Unfortunately, sellers often forget to update the status once they have shipped the item.

Thank you for your response, but I forgot to say that the status was changed by both my seller and myself (for my sales!)!

Thumbs still down! ;-)

I can even say that I use almost every step of "order status".

Upon hearing the payment, I already set it to "pending" to indicate that I am received notification of payment.

And then off topic; I then copy the date of payment which I then save again in a concept of sale to have an overview of it. Because I miss this again; a clear overview of the payments without having to go back to the payment notification every time.

Thank you for your response, but I forgot to say that the status was adjusted by both my seller and myself (for my sales!)!

By default, for sales to buyers in the seller's country, it takes 3 days to provide feedback. This term is 10 days by default for sales abroad. This waiting time was introduced because sometimes buyers already gave negative feedback before the item was actually received.
