Originele redactionele cartoon in pen en inkt op kaart voor de Toronto Telegram, rond 1964. Als gouverneur van Alabama stond George Wallace bekend om zijn segregationistische opvattingen. Hij kreeg te maken met demonstraties en protesten onder leiding van Martin Luther King in Birmingham en Montgomery en de desegregatie van openbare scholen en universiteiten, die ondanks zijn tegenstand doorging. Original editorial cartoon in pen and ink on card for the Toronto Telegram, around 1964. As Governor of Alabama, George Wallace was well known for his segregationist views. He had to deal with demonstrations and protests led by Martin Luther King in Birmingham and Montgomery and the desegregation of public schools and universities, which went ahead despite his opposition.
