This is a DIAMOND JUBILEE limited series of Jaguar World Magazine. Jaguar C Type Le Mans had 1st victory in this race in 1951 in first year of production of the car. It beat the competition in this race very easily. Jaguar did mistake for the competition of 1952 by making nose lower in order to be more aerodynamic but had consequence on motor cooling and Jaguar was defeated by Mercedes 300SL in 1952
