CUSIP 456092 10 5 IEH Corporation started in 1937 as a tool and die maker, and was organized under the laws of the state of New York on March 22, 1943 under the name Industrial Heat Treating Company Inc. For many years, the company produced tube sockets for the Television Industry. As the need for tube sockets diminished, they became a manufacturer of connectors employing the Hypertac design. The company then changed its name to Industrial Electronic Hardware on June 30, 1959. Then finally on March 15, 1989, the name was changed to IEH Corporation. When customers today inquire as to the meaning of IEH, they are now told, "In Excellent Hands!" Today, IEH Corporation is engaged in the design, development, manufacture, and distribution of high performance electronic printed circuit connectors and specialized interconnection devices.
