Introduced in 1959 the Mini was the most outstanding small vehicle ever to be produced by the British motor industry. The van version was equally popular and was used widely by public services and fleet owners such as the General Post Office, Automobile Association and RAC.
The Mini Van had an extended wheelbase of 7ft and an overall length of 10ft 10ins, which was 10ins longer than the saloon.
