Launched at the Motor Show 1959, the MkII was available from the outset with 3 engine configurations: 2.4, 3.4 and new 3.8 versions. The 3.8 litre, with 220bhp, subsequently became - and still is - the most sought after, and soon gained the accolade of being the fastest production saloon car in the world during the sixties. It remained Jaguar’s fastest up to the introduction of the V12 XJ Series I saloon in the early seventies. Limited Edition 4.100 pcs. (non-certificated)
