Arum White (Boy Racer) The Specialist Division Project Number I (SDI) was built between 1976 and 1986. With its five-door monocoque body, a live rear axle and Macpherson strut front suspension, the SDI was developed to a fine grade of excellence and in the 1970’s it outsold all previous Triumph and Rover models combined. 1982 brought the launch of the Series II models, with revised trim levels, body up-dates and new models. First came the 3500 VDP followed by a 2400 diesel, then later a high-powered V8 Vitesse, a 4 cylinder 2000cc. Non-limited Edition
