Launched in 1969 a total of 43.353 saloons were produced until discontinued in 1975. The 2.5 PI MkII styling and cosmetics were as per the 2000 MkII, plus a rev counter, a vacuum reservoir for the brakes, a power steering option and different wheels/badging. The original 2.5 PI was Britain’s first fuel injected family car and the MkII was mechanically unchanged (with 138bhp and a 105mph top speed) but with elongated styling. Limited Edition 3.600 pcs.
