I am a layman when it comes to coins, but would like to add anyway. Find it difficult to determine the condition. Especially the difference between beautiful and very beautiful seems big.
Is it possible to place pictures with examples of the condition under 'explanation condition'?
Succes!
In theory this is possible. Difficult to implement in practice. In fact, a series of photos should be available for each coin type, with a photo in each quality per coin type. This is hardly feasible.
You may be able to search (and find) on quality coins via Google. And every good coin catalog also has photo examples.
Good luck!

I don't think this is necessary you are talking about the same coin
In your own collection you indicate your quality and the scan is of course important so that this is visible
you are not going to include every quality in the catalog, that's nonsense

But catawiki could be a good coin catalog, right? Do I now need to borrow a coin catalog to learn about types of conditions?
It is therefore not my aim to see all the photos for each coin, but generally as an illustration for the explanation of the conditions.

Determining quality is to a certain extent quite subjective. Everyone has its own interest. As far as your own collection is concerned, I would just estimate it myself based on the descriptions that are there, and when it comes to trade, the same goes. The buyer will have to ask for photos and see if he / she considers it important.
Determining quality on the basis of a photo is even difficult, to mention as an important example a coin that is very worn on one side, but not on the other side. Some collectors prominently stick the coin with one side forward and attach more importance to it. Furthermore, much more wear and tear is accepted on older coins than on more recent coins.
I think photos are a bad idea. It gives a false sense of security and clarity.

Unfortunately bad experience with a seller.
Gradation of the currency was incorrect and neither was the photo.

Our current system of gradation is simply a breeding ground for discussion. With a total of 7 quality grades, it is impossible to describe the condition of a coin.
in case of slabbed coins from e.g. PCGS or NGC, try the difference between a coin MS60(unc), MS63(BU), MS65(FDC) and a coin MS70 (we have no degree for this) (yet these are all ordinary circulation strokes ) if you want to sell it
A UNC coin can have less detail than its brother in "beautiful condition" simply due to the use of a worn stamp.
In "my collection" you can also indicate the coin quality in the sheldon scale, possibly with certificate no. could be handy.
