Ik vraag me af hoe de controle/eindredactie op de invoer werkt bij Catawiki en dan met name op dubbele (onnodige)invoer.
Zo voer ik op 4-12 Flor de Luna deel 2 in en op 5-12 doet Spirit dit ook. Spirit voegt ook een achterkant van de cover toe en de prijs geloof ik maar het is toch zeker wel hetzelfde boek. Dit album staat nu dus twee keer in de database Rolling Eyes Beter was deze twee samen te voegen.
Ik vind persoonlijk dat de database zo clean mogelijk moet zijn. Dat vergemakkelijkt ook de invoer en om welke druk het gaat etc. moet vind ik, men maar bij zijn eigen aantekeningen zetten. Wel dus aparte covers en uitgaves enz. Maar een album is een album. Bij Alex zie ik ook veel dubbele: eerste druk, herdruk en nog weer een jaartal ??
I wonder how the control / editing works on the input at Catawiki, especially on double (unnecessary) input.
For example, on 4-12 I enter Flor de Luna part 2 and on 5-12 Spirit does this too. Spirit also adds a back of the cover and the price I believe, but it is certainly the same book. This album is now twice in the Rolling Eyes database. It was better to merge these two.
I personally think the database should be as clean as possible. That also simplifies the input and what pressure it should be, etc. I think, people should just add their own notes. So separate covers and releases etc. But an album is an album. With Alex I also see a lot of duplicates: first edition, reprint and another year ??

Jij hebt de Franstalige editie ingevoerd en Spirit de dag erna de Nederlandstalige.
Dat lijkt me geheel correct en ik heb beide dus goedgekeurd.
Als het bij jou toch om de Nederlandstalige versie ging, dan heb ik een fout gemaakt en gaan we dat herstellen.
Het kan natuurlijk altijd voorkomen dat er dubbele items in Catawiki komen te zitten, vooral bij zeer complexe reeksen gaat er wel eens iets mis, ook bij mij.
Maar zodra dit ontdekt is mikken we één van de twee eruit.
En de waarde die een ieder hecht aan informatie is natuurlijk subjectief. Ik heb zelf helemaal niets met prijzen en afmetingen, maar weer wel met drukken.
En daar hecht jij dan weer geen belang aan.
Vanwege de verschillende versies/drukken is het echter heel belangrijk dat zowel de voorkant als de achterkant van een album wordt toegevoegd, zeker als het om een herdruk gaat.
Anders is het soms moeilijk te beoordelen of een boek al of niet reeds in de database zit.
Neem Flor de Luna als voorbeeld: als je daar een achterkant had toegevoegd had ik bijna niet na hoeven te denken.

You entered the French-language edition and Spirit the Dutch-language version the day after.
That seems completely correct to me and I therefore approved both. we are going to fix that.
Of course, it can always happen that there are duplicate items in Catawiki, especially with very complex series something sometimes goes wrong, including me.
But as soon as this is discovered, we will take one of the two out.
And the value that everyone attaches to information is of course subjective. I myself have nothing at all with prices and dimensions, but again with printing.
And you don't attach any importance to that.
However, due to the different versions / printings, it is very important that both the front and the back of an album are added, especially if it is a reprint.
Otherwise it is sometimes difficult to judge whether or not a book is already in the database.
Take Flor de Luna as an example: if you had added a back cover there I hardly had to think.
Also sometimes yummy. (;-)
Ok, ik zie het al. Ik was me er niet bewust van dat ik als taal Frans had ingevoerd. Die heb ik dus ook niet (beheerste ik de Franse taal maar, dan wist ik het wel qua strips… ;-))
Dus die van mij mag eruit, de cover is ook Nederlands.
Ok, I see it already. I was not aware that I had entered French as the language. I don't have one either (if I had a command of the French language, but then I knew about comics… ;-))
So mine can be removed, the cover is also Dutch.
