Toon originele berichtLook at the lefthand side. You see indents at top that are traces of perforations. The top margin is narrower than the bottom. The centre is bulging. This is a cut-down stamp. At bottom left, it appears to have no perforation. The righthand side looks cut as well and it looks as if the stamp is overlaid on a second stamp.
As for colours, every catalogue uses its own. Hibernian (the authority on Irish stamps) calls it emerald green.
The imperforate x 14 was released September 1934,
The 15 x imperforate was released 1935, no 1934 dates are known.
Additionally, it is impossible to determine the smudgy year in the cancellation. Is it 36, 38, 28, or even 58?
I think it is 1938, which is late for this experimental coil printing.
The dull colour, also, raises doubt about this stamp.
Blurry pictures already should be a warning. Accepting a blurry picture as an example of a very rare stamp essentially is accepting all without evidence.

So the details of this stamp are correct, only the scan is unclear and perhaps a clipping of the stamp from 1922?. From the book most likely.
By the way, Michel indicates, 43 B vertically serrated 14, Sept 1934 and 43 C horizontally serrated 15, 1935

I can't tell you exactly what's going on with the stamp in the image. You see all kinds of indications that the stamp is not what it pretends to be. I also have my doubts about the postmark that seems to become oval at the top right. That may be an optical illusion, but I suspect someone cut a stamp and placed it over another stamp with a postmark that almost coincides before taking a poorly focused photo to disguise the tinkering.

I don't believe this.
Rightly so, maybe they have them in their virtual collection. MNH can only be one. A well-known dealer had purchased that copy just before December 2020. My suspicion is that of the seven, none actually has the stamp in mint mint mint condition.
And I don't think out of the twenty-four will survive. It will also not be the first time that someone has overlooked the fact that this cylinder seal is toothless on the sides. But of course it is the centerpiece of an Irish collection.

Toon originele berichtLD collection are used in many ways, some LD members record only what they have , other create a dream collection and doesn’t own any pricey stamps and other add a dream stamp to their actual collection writing sometimes in private that they will never have this stamp but some information on it.
All is fine this is freedom, for sure there are many virtual collections on LD after all I know stamps collectors that sold all their stamps and their only hobby is to create their virtual collections.
Why to waste money anymore buying stamps , this is my actual thinking to sale all my stamps and marcophilia collection and to collect only virtually, same pleasure and great savings of money to offer a better life traveling with your wife or just pay the bills.
