De films uit verzameldozen kunnen alle worden opgevoerd met een beperkt aantal velden. Wat ik eigenlijk mis is een “slim” invoersysteem dat zich richt op de film en niet de box. Met een “slim systeem” bedoel ik; de invoeropties zijn afhankelijk van een aantal criteria. Een daarvan zou moeten zijn dat het om een DVD-box gaat.
Zo kan ik bij de box moeilijk aangeven of het om een zwart/wit film gaat of kleur wanneer beide voorkomen. Zelfs de regio kan per film (DVD) verschillen evenals beeldformaat enz.
Maar ook de duur van de film, releasejaar, genre enz. kunnen niet worden toegevoegd.

Jawel, ik heb verzameldozen in mijn collectie. Inderdaad, ook mijn opvatting is dat het huidige systeem niet voldoet.
Voorzover het verzameldozen betreft met daarin aparte DVD doosjes valt het wel mee: Door de doosjes als aparte items op te voeren (zijn meestal ook los verkrijgbaar) kun je de door jou gewenste gegevens invoeren. Naast deze doosjes kun je ook de box opvoeren met onder byzonderheden een verwijzing naar de inhoud: de aparte doosjes.
Indien het echter om verzameldozen gaat zonder losse doosjes, is dit geen mogelijkheid. Dan valt gebruik te maken van de mogelijkheden die waarschijnlijk t.b.v. TV series is gecreëerd, met de al door jou geschetste beperkingen

Dit onderwerp loopt niet echt warm, ook niet bij het CW team, maar is voor iemand die wil invoeren een heel lastige waardoor invoer in mijn beleving ook uit blijft.
Net de triple pack "black hawk down/tears of the sun/the patriot" opgevoerd. Ik kan daarvoor geen ingang bij een van de andere films kiezen omdat in dit geval de verschillende films als afleveringen moeten worden opgevoerd. Alles moet dus handmatig en opnieuw. Het is al een gemis dat wij geen gebruik kunnen maken van data uit een centrale database, maar het is helemaal een gemis wanneer we niet kunnen putten uit de invoer die al in CW aanwezig is
Bepaalde velden zijn voor een bepaalde titel altijd hetzelfde, tenzij er meerdere acteurs een zelfde rol hebben vertolkt, dat kan dan worden ondervangen door een combi van titel met releasejaar.
en zoals hierboven al eens aangegeven, een heleboel informatie kan niet worden gegeven omdat de verschillende films en daarmee diskettes voldoen aan verschillende waarden. zo is de ondertiteling bij de ene film ook in het turks verkrijgbaar en op de andere in hindi.
