Om voor mij onduidelijke redenen is de export file niet – in leesbare vorm – te openen in OpenOffice of Google Spreadsheet, terwijl een xml-file (en ook een Excelfile) toch gewoon in te lezen zou moeten zijn in deze programma’s.
Doe ik iets verkeerd of is het niet mogelijk om het bestand in deze programma’s te openen? En als het laatste het geval is, kan dat opgelost worden?
For reasons that are unclear to me, the export file cannot be opened – in readable form – in OpenOffice or Google Spreadsheet, while an XML file (and also an Excel file) should still be readable in these programs.
Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to open the file in these programs? And if the latter is the case, can it be resolved?

OpenOffice en Google Spreadsheets maken inderdaad ook gebruik van xml-files, echter de manier waarop de informatie in de xml-file staat wijkt helaas af van de xml-file die wordt gebruikt door Excel. Vandaar dat het inlezen niet goed gaat.

OpenOffice and Google Spreadsheets do indeed use XML files, but the way in which the information is contained in the XML file unfortunately differs from the XML file used by Excel. That is why reading in does not go well.
