In mijn exemplaar wordt de laatste bladzijde 272 gevolgd door een schutblad met een nog aanwezige halve bladzijde. Ook bij de KB kom ik er geen toelichting over tegen. Kleine kans dat iemand weet wat dit voorstelt ? Wellicht zat er nog een humorvolle brief in van Wim Kan ?
In my copy, the last page 272 is followed by an endpaper with a half-page still present. I can't find any explanation about it at the KB either. Small chance that anyone knows what this represents? Perhaps it still contained a humorous letter from Wim Kan?

De vraag vervalt, ik had het boek vandaag in mijn bezit gekregen, doorgebladerd en na een 2e keer bladeren kom ik er nu pas achter dat de bewuste halve bladzijde verkeerd is "gevouwen". Na het verhaal over de tijd tijdens de Japanse bezetting en de hereniging van Wim Kan met zijn vrouw Corry Vonk eindigt het boek met brieven die de 2 aan elkaar mochten sturen tijdens hun interneringen. Als grap in een prive mapje afgesloten met een Ex libris zegel, die je als nieuwsgierige lezer toch moest "breken " .

After the story about the time during the Japanese occupation and the reunion of Wim Kan with his wife Corry Vonk, the book ends with letters that the two were allowed to send to each other during their internments. As a joke in a private folder closed with an Ex libris seal, which you as a curious reader had to "break" anyway.
