is
Ik wil graag reacties op bovenstaande

I've been visiting lastdodo for a little over a year now
Occasionally I buy a comic
What I've noticed so far:
1) the photos invariably come from the catalog. Barring exceptions
2) the possible description of the actual condition of the album for sale by the seller leaves something to be desired
3) the stated condition of the album (mint condition, good, reasonable etc) is too often not available corresponds to the standard used by lastdodo in the sense that the condition of the album is too often stated by the seller too optimistically so eg “good condition” if it is actually “fair” until (looking
at the standard) it is actually almost “bad”
is
I would like comments on the above

From whom do you expect a response?
This concerns transactions between a buyer and seller. In case of problems, first try to resolve the matter, then there is the possibility of feedback.

Very simple: ask for pictures before you buy

I've bought a lot on LastDodo already. I only rely on the sellers' own photos!

Toon originele berichtEen bekend probleem, wolreef4.

A known issue, wolreef4. I sometimes see photos of albums that fall apart and are casually offered as near mint condition. I always check the feedback. If there is a regular comment there about a condition that is disappointing (sometimes still positive, but in terms such as "we differed about the condition of the albums, but the seller has neatly resolved this") then I stay away,
I've included two photos of each of my items, and I usually include an honest description of the defects as well. As a result, I do sell some items (and sometimes for a higher asking price) than fellow shops that do not offer photos. I myself don't buy anything (anymore) from shops that don't offer photos.

Wolreef4, as a seller I only have a chance to sell something, compared to other sellers, just by posting photos and description. Where it's mint/store condition, I don't. But you can expect a seller to check something before sending the invoice. In general, the pro stores don't post any photos by store condition (generally these are really relatively recent albums). Then you can order with a very good 100% positive feedback or 99% (there will always be something). I wouldn't buy anything over the internet without photos or express confirmation that the condition is as reported. Store condition versus near mint is also quite another thing. Selling neatly is quite an art, but as a buyer you just have to ask your questions. The LD system is also designed for this. Finally, there are providers who have not eaten much of what they sell, I still see feedbacks with "was not 1st edition" to almost new condition, at most good. A nice strip does not mean near mint. And cheap can be expensive. But you can also be lucky with cheap....

In fact, shops should be closed after repeated complaints about the state. Entering a wrong state is contrary to this rule:
The chosen condition must match the item offered. It is not allowed to choose a better condition than the actual condition of the item. Assess the item fairly.
Sellers who misrepresent their goods put at a disadvantage to fellow sellers who do business honestly. It also damages LD's reputation.
Also, I sometimes see unrealistically high prices. I don't think that's good either. LD should be a place where you can buy good quality collectibles for a reasonable price. If this can be achieved, every seller (and buyer) will benefit. Don't aim for a short-term benefit, but think of the long term.

Zomaar enige gedachten.
I think this is a striking comment from vertigo.
I also sometimes see unrealistically high prices. I don't think that's good either.
That 'problem' will of course solve itself, because those items will probably not be sold and, certainly in the case of more suppliers, dangle completely under the list. Then you don't even get them in the picture at first. A few nuances though.
Allow me to give an example from my own LastDodo practice, although I don't feel personally addressed. I have offered some books with dedication under the regular entry of those items. The asking price is indeed quite different. Someone who clicks through out of curiosity will then notice and probably understand.
For many items that I imported years ago, I usually used the catalog value that applied at the time. Sometimes I was the first, or one of the first, to set its price. Most who then offered that item will have determined their asking price based on what was already on the market, and may have deliberately "slid down the tree" on purpose, giving you a race to the bottom.
Ten years ago, for example, I sold an album from the Lekturama Collection by Donald Duck for 30 euros, the list price for 'new condition'. The album was still in foil, I would have entered even more and never looked back. Recently I looked up what those albums 'do' nowadays, and it turns out that they only yield 5 euros. Then you are indeed a little bit crazy with your high asking price, but I don't think that is a problem.
Conversely, developments (selling out albums) can lead to a greater real value, while the list price is not yet included has been moved.
Finally, a seller may of course only want to sell the item at a certain price, because he once paid quite a lot for it himself. Or else prefer to keep it to yourself.
Just some thoughts.

The fairly new function with a lowest price, average price and highest price per state category does provide buyers with some guidance, unlike 'before'. Checking the feedback is always a good idea.

I mean there are sellers who charge way too high prices for all items. I can then buy those items elsewhere for half, a third or a fourth of the price. This kind of behavior drives buyers away, I think.
Couldn't resist visiting your shop. My conclusion from the visit is that my comment does not apply to you. What makes me extremely happy is the fact that you give the items such an extensive description. My compliments!
(For the record, everything I write about this is in a personal capacity, as a seller)

L.D can also enter a line up to Eg, 10€ Photos from the Catalog are allowed from 10€ Own Photos mandatory then such Item`s fall through the basket as written Quasi new condition price 40€ and the Photo (minimal 5) tells a completely different story, and yes the Yield, the Golden times are over, just like with Stamps, Coins, etc. the Collectors are getting old, stop / die, so there is too much on the Market, only the real first edition in very good condition to plus minus 1970 bring some more.

That indeed applies to many collectibles, many of which have come onto the market in lesser condition in recent years.
Stamps, books, comics and toys, just look at King's Day in the inner cities.
On book markets, flea markets and thrift shops here in North Holland, for example, the demand for 'normal comics' has virtually disappeared.
But very old printed paper, which is rare and also in very good condition, is nevertheless popular with wealthy collectors.
Have a look at the Catawiki auctions or at Delcampe.
"The reading material" goes by the kilo, so to speak, but prices of flawless rare items are still through the roof.
But where do you buy that stuff in and where and when do you bring it on the market?
A buyer and seller (trader) must have knowledge of things...
Most amateurs do not have that or insufficiently.
