Begin dit jaar stond de teller van het aantal doublures in de catalogus op ruim 4000. Met als uitschieter de rubriek bierviltjes met zo'n 1400 stuks. De afgelopen maanden ben ik regelmatig bezig geweest de meeste rubrieken te ontdubbelen. Dat houdt in: vergelijken, aanvullen, eventueel de illustraties aanpassen en uiteindelijk samenvoegen. Vandaag de laatste verwijderd bij de bierviltjes.
De teller staat nu rond de 800, maar daar zitten nog een groot aantal spookitems bij. (Verwijderde items die nog opkomen bij het zoeken)
Vooral nog bij postzegels, dvd's, strip, en boeken moeten nu doublures verwijderd worden. Daar zijn voldoende superbeheerders om dat stukje zelf aan te pakken.
Nu even bijkomen in het Cataw... o nee, het LastDodo café. Misschien hebben ze daar nog leuke bierviltjes.

Especially with stamps, DVDs, comic strips and books, duplicates must now be removed. There are enough super administrators there to tackle that part themselves.
Now relax in the Cataw ... oh no, the LastDodo cafe. Maybe they still have nice beer coasters there.

De volgende uitdaging is alle items die gemarkeerd staan als "Verkeerde Rubriek" te verplaatsen naar hun juiste plek. Dat zijn er zo'n 2200, dus daar ben ik weer even zoet mee.

Lijkt mij een lastige. Niet iedereen is even accuraat met meten.

Net boeken aangepakt. Rest zijn "spookboeken" en postzegelboeken, die dubbel met de rubriek postzegels staan, maar ik niet kan aanpassen

Dan hou je er nog ruim 8600 over die over het algemeen dubbel correct in de titel of omschrijving hebben staan. Dubbel is een lastige term om mee te zoeken en bij deze zoekmachine werkt de truc om het tussen haakjes te zetten helaas niet.
Verder zijn er nog wat doublures te vinden met het predicaat "Duplicaat" (Duplikaat heb ik al verwerkt).
We hoeven ons niet te vervelen :-)

Then you are left with more than 8,600 that are generally doubly correct in the title or description. Double is a difficult term to search with and with this search engine the trick to put it between brackets does not work.
There are also some duplicates with the predicate "Duplicate" (I have already processed duplicate).

Op advies van Arco himself heb ik dit destijds zo aangepast.
Betreft allemaal items die ingevoerd zijn in 'Overig' en in andere rubrieken thuis horen. Betreft dus geen doublures.
Kan 'gegroepeerd' gezocht worden. En itemnummer, titel en juiste rubriek staat hier dus allemaal wel vermeld. Bespaart dus al het zoekwerk hiernaar. Maar als gewone gebruiker kan ik het dus overzetten.
