Ik heb nu een waagklokje gekregen van iemand en wil deze restaureren, maar weet er niet zoveel vanaf. Is er iemand die me iets meer kan vertellen over deze bijzondere klok?

Ik ben voor een kunstwerk op zoek naar zo klein mogelijke slagklokjes waarvan ik de behuizing afhaal en zodra ze bij elk uur slaan ze een draad raken waaraan kristallen hangen die dan tegen elkaar tikken en een leuk geluid maken

Ik ben kort geleden in het bezit gekomen van een mooi klein, maar heel zwaar klokje van het merk imhof. Nu past hij niet bij de inrichting van mijn huis en dus wil ik er afstand van doen. Ik vraag mij alleen af of hij nog iets waard is. Er staat op Imhof 15 Jewels en hij is rijkelijk versierd. Hij weegt een hele hoop voor zo'n klein klokje en hij loopt perfect. I recently came into possession of a nice small, but very heavy clock from the Imhof brand. Now it doesn't match the decor of my house and so I want to get rid of it. I'm just wondering if he's worth anything. It says 15 Jewels on Imhof and it is richly decorated. It weighs a lot for such a small clock and it runs perfectly. See the links for photos.

The alarm clock has a diameter of 11 cm and a depth of 6 cm. Probably 1910. Some photos can be found under Catawiki number 6324707 .

Gallier is de naam van de verkoper/winkel. Seurre is een stadje in het franse departement Cote d'Or (21). Samen met nog 3 andere departementen vormt de Cote d'Or de bekende Bourgogne.
Kun je me een fotootje sturen dan kan ik je vertellen wat voor klok het is. Misschien een Comtoise? Anders een nauwkeurige beschrijving van het uiterlijk, de gebruikte materialen en de afmetingen....

Hallo, helaas ben ik geen klokkenexpert (wel liefhebber), maar de "gravure" op de klok lijkt me niet door de klokkenmaker te zijn geplaats. Eerder heeft de eigenaar of schenker zijn naam erin gekrast.(huwelijk/geschenk/jubileum) De knagende onzekerheid over de herkomst van een voorwerp is mij zeer wel bekend.
Als amateur genealoog heb ik de naam Ed/uard Neyts gegooglt en hier zijn meerdere vermeldingen van de voornaam/naam Eduard Neyt/s te vinden vooral in de omgeving van Gent. Er is ook een familie Neyts uit Belgie uitgeweken naar Friesland, deze familie waren in de 19e eeuw koperslagers.
mischien dat u via deze weg/contact met familie's Neyts meer informatie kunt vragen/vinden

Hello, unfortunately I am not a clock expert (but I am an enthusiast), but the "engraving" on the clock does not seem to have been placed by the clockmaker. Previously, the owner or donor has scratched his name in it. (wedding/gift/anniversary) The nagging uncertainty about the origin of an object is well known to me.
As an amateur genealogist I googled the name Ed/uard Neyts and here are several mentions of the first name/surname Eduard Neyt/s, especially in the Ghent area. There is also a Neyts family from Belgium who moved to Friesland, these family were coppersmiths in the 19th century.
maybe you can ask/find more information through this way/contact with family's Neyts

Ik heb (denk ik) een oude antieke klok. De naam die op de wijzerplaat staat is : Gallier a seurre. Als ik de naam intoets op google kan ik er niet echt over vinden.
De kast is van hout met hele zware gewichten. De gewichten zitten aan touw wat naar de kast loopt.
