Originele tekening op papier met pen en inkt, omstreeks 1965, mogelijk gepubliceerd in de Saturday Evening Post of de New York Times, van Ho Chi Minh, president van Noord-Vietnam tot aan zijn dood in 1969. Tekening op wit papier is op een groter stuk geplakt papier met een gestempeld adres in New York op de verso. Kroll, die in 1933 Duitsland verliet toen de nazi's aan de macht kwamen, werd een 'celebrity karikaturist' in de VS die karikaturen tekende van duizenden publieke figuren in Amerika en de rest van de wereld. Original drawing on paper in pen and ink, around 1965, possibly published in the Saturday Evening Post or the New York Times, of Ho Chi Minh, President of North Vietnam until his death in 1969. Drawing on white paper is pasted onto a larger piece of paper which has a stamped New York address on verso. Kroll, who left Germany in 1933 when the Nazis came to power, became a ‘celebrity caricaturist’ in the USA who drew caricatures of thousands of public figures in America and around the world. Paper size 15 x 10 cm (6 x 4 inch), image size 10.5 x 6.5 cm, signed lower right. In good condition.
