Reprinting "War against Crime" comic books issues #1 - 11 and "Crime Patrol" # 7-16 in b / w with beautiful color reproductions of the original covers inside and on the hardcoverbooks / slipcase covers. War Against Crime, 11 issues in 2 volumes, and Crime Patrol, 10 issues in 2 volumes, featured stylish film-noir covers by Johnny Craig, plus interior stories by him, Feldstein, Howard Larsen, Henry G. Kiefer & several others. In 1949, EC experimented with horror style stories & early attempts can also be found within. The last two issues of each featured the first appearances of two of EC's Ghoulanatics, The Crypt Keeper in Crime Patrol, with The Vault Keeper in War Against Crime.
