Het zou de kwaliteit van catawiki ten goede komen als er alleen scans van strips worden geplaatst… niet bijvoorbeeld een foto van een strip waar je een groot gedeelte van de tafel nog ziet waar deze op ligt.

Het liefst hebben we inderdaad scans van strips in plaats van foto’s. Omdat scans mooier en duidelijker zijn. Maar… we hebben nog altijd liever een foto dan helemaal geen afbeelding. Dus op zich al mooi als iemand een foto toevoegt. Dan kan deze later altijd nog worden gewijzigd in een scan. Dit principe geldt ook voor de kwaliteitseis aan een scan: liever een in lage resolutie en klein formaat dan helemaal geen scan. Maar het liefst hebben we het, zoals ook beschreven in onze Help onder het kopje Catalogus: Wij bevelen een grootte van de foto aan van 700 pixels breed zodat er door gebruikers goed ingezoomd kan worden op de foto. Afbeeldingen moeten wel worden toegevoegd in een van de volgende formaten: .jpg, .gif of .png.
We prefer to have scans of comics instead of photos. Because scans are more beautiful and clearer. But… we still prefer a photo to no image at all. So nice in itself if someone adds a photo. Then it can always be changed later in a scan. This principle also applies to the quality requirement for a scan: rather a low resolution and small format than no scan at all. But we prefer it, as also described in our Help under the heading Catalog: We recommend a size of the photo of 700 pixels wide so that users can zoom in on the photo. Dat heb ik dan maar verwijderd. Kwaliteitsverhalen horen in de beschrijving bij boeken in je eigen verzameling. Misschien was de invoerder even de weg kwijt.
I removed that. Quality stories belong in the description to books in your own collection. Maybe the importer got lost for a while.

En de conditie van je eigen boek hoort inderdaad niet in de catalogus thuis maar in het Notities veld in je eigen verzameling.

Een prima (wellicht beter)alternatief is om het album in twee delen te scannen en de afbeeldingen met behulp van bijvoorbeeld HP Photosmart Premier (panorama) samen te voegen.
A great (perhaps better) alternative is to scan the album in two parts and merge the images using, for example, HP Photosmart Premier (panorama).

Met een eenvoudig programma zoals Paint wat standaard op de PC staat kan je ook twee scans samenvoegen.
Bij de eerste druk van Don Bosco van Jijé heb ik dit ook moeten doen, met een redelijk resultaat denk ik.
With a simple program such as Paint, which is standard on the PC, you can also merge two scans.
I also had to do this with the first edition of Don Bosco van Jijé, with a reasonable result I think.
