It would be good if there were a link to the to-do list somewhere. For example on the forum page on the left or at the top of the page.

There may already be a link somewhere (except in this forum itself ), but I can't find it.

I was just planning to add an item to the ToDo list about the link that Collectieneur proposes. But he was ahead of me ;-)

@Thbio, ik wil je enthousiasme niet temperen, in tegendeel, maar er heeft nog maar 0,1% gereageerd van de ruim 17.000 gebruikers. Ik las ergens dat eerdaags de to do lijst / ideeënlink op de startpagina zou komen, dan komt er wellicht gelijk meer respons en krijg je dus gelijk een beter beeld wat "men" écht graag wil + hopelijk een leuke discussie er over.

Je vraagt zo'n beetje elke week in het forum om een rubriek tijdschriften, maar hoe zie jij dat dan precies? Ik bedoel de exacte totale invulling van die nieuwe rubriek of wellicht wel gelijk meerdere rubrieken ineens (zie onder)?

@Thbio, I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm, on the contrary, only 0.1% of the more than 17,000 users have responded. I read somewhere that soon the to do list / ideas link would be on the start page, then there might be more response and you immediately get a better picture of what "people" really want + hopefully a nice discussion about it.

You ask for a periodicals section in the forum just about every week, but how do you see that exactly? I mean the exact total content of that new section or perhaps several sections at the same time (see below)?

@Uilenspiegel Een lang relaas maar ik zie de problemen niet die jij wel schijnt te zien.

Natuurlijk horen alle tijdschriften gewoon in 1 rubriek, bij elkaar. Dat is niet veel anders dan alle postzegels van de wereld of alle munten van de wereld, dat gaat ook prima samen in 1 rubriek.

Een striptijdschrift is niets speciaals; het is gewoon een periodieke verschijning van een blad, en hetzelfde geldt voor kranten. De wikipedia pagina's die je hier noemt zijn weinig indrukwekkend. Ik heb een aantal tijdschriften die al helemaal niet in die lijst staan.

Ondertussen weet ik dat er een aantal mensen al heel ver zijn met het bedenken van de velden, en er zullen heus wel beheerders naar voren komen, dus als jij je daar niet toe geroepen voelt is dat geen probleem.

Overigens zijn er maar een aantal mensen zoveel met Catawiki bezig dat ze zich zullen bemoeien met het feedback-gedeelte, dus wachten tot duizenden mensen er op gereageerd hebben lijkt me onzin. Momenteel is de tijdschriften-rubriek met flinke voorsprong het meest gestemde onderdeel, en het lijkt me logisch dat daar een gevolg aan wordt gegeven.

Of course all magazines belong together in 1 category. That is not much different from all the stamps of the world or all the coins of the world, which also go well together in 1 category.

A comics magazine is nothing special; it's just a periodic appearance of a magazine, and the same goes for newspapers. The wikipedia pages you mention here are not very impressive. I have a number of magazines that are not on that list at all.

In the meantime I know that a number of people have already come a long way with coming up with the fields , and administrators will certainly come forward, so if you don't feel called to do so, that's no problem.

Incidentally, only a few people are so busy with Catawiki that they will interfere with the feedback section , so waiting for thousands of people to respond to it seems nonsense to me. At the moment, the magazines section is by far the most voted part, and it seems logical to me that this should be followed up.

@ Eric, I don't see any problems :) I only believe that such a large section can be used to exchange opinions. Incidentally, the idea for a magazine column dates back to 2008 and will certainly come. For me it is all about the shape that will be given to it, because that shape is ultimately important for all users, I think.

I have not posted anywhere (about that I wouldn't want to manage either) that we should wait for thousands of people's opinions, but only 17 supporters is the other extreme. So why not give some opinions about it first in the meantime, like now?

Whether it is so natural to add comic books to magazines (apart from the fact that it is possible) is one of the points on which we differ slightly. I think a comic magazine is special. My opinion is therefore that comics magazines deserve a separate section , say, just like coins and tokens or books and comics. Or that they "just" stick with comics because they are so intertwined. I think comics magazines are quite different from all other magazines outwardly and inwardly.

The frequency of publication does not mean much to me, all printed media appears once, whether per day, per week, every two weeks, per month or per year. That does not mean that they are therefore all the same and must necessarily be in 1 section.

If you look in the local bookstore they are all together and yet separate if you know what I mean, books with books, magazines with magazines, 18+ with 18+ and (far away) comics with comics and comics magazines with comics.

Perhaps it is useful that if you search for something and select Dutch, all foreign series will disappear, also in the search bar.

So, for example, I search Superman, select Dutch and then all foreign comics disappear under the search bar, but when I go to album series, I first have to struggle through a list, while if you link album series to language again, they can just disappear. Language should be indicated correctly with the relevant book.

The suggestions list is apparently popular because it is quite long.

I would like to make a proposal to shorten this list:

Catawiki team, go through these 4 lists thoroughly and take out the proposals that have already been implemented in some way.
Also indicate which suggestions you are working on.

It went so well, but instinctively things have come to a halt with these suggestion lists.

We do look at it a lot. Today decided that we are now going to pick up bulk removal from collection and shop because it is one of the most requested features by both collectors and sellers.

By the way, you are quite right that we need to communicate more about it.

You were just before me, the start so promising with the magazines and the first reactions of the Catawiki team, but now threatens to fall asleep.

My proposal is therefore to report the progress every last working day of the month, and to display the items that are on the roll for the coming month with a timeline, so that the feeling is also being worked on!

When copying an item, the price is also included. In my experience that is not convenient, because which similar item has the same value? That will be more the exception than the rule. If it is not yet on the list, please add it.
