We want to say goodbye to this one.

All in all, it's a sad been alive.

Proudly presented on 7/4/2011 out of concern to help us all.

Quickly treated stepmotherly, ignored to death, deemed unnecessary.

Despite the collectors who gladly and with some hope try to keep it alive, it still celebrated its third birthday. In order not to wake up today.

The hope for improvement, adjustments, a listening ear, ... are so deprived of us. We remember with melancholy this disturbing appendage that was eventually silently eliminated, executed, weighed and found wanting.

The ToDo list has been temporarily taken offline because it had not been used for too long. The intention is that Arco, the new catalog manager, will first take a look again at what is possible to include that in its prioritization. When the list has been cleaned up a bit later, the intention is to activate it again.

Are you still looking at Arco? I suppose you are already working with it quietly.

But my question: is it the intention to make it active again?

There were a number of points on that list that I was really looking forward to. Such as the annoying items that appear in your search list a number of times due to several series, the possibility to organize 'my collection' as you wish, and the possibility to sort your search list (according to author, for example), ...

Now you have no idea whether something is happening / will happen / or will never happen. (Although it is clear that problems are solved on a daily basis.)

I started to sort things out and was almost ready to put the tool back on the site when ... when ... a security hole was discovered by Catawiki in that tool (from a third party). Then the party was over and now I have to wait for that problem to be solved by the manufacturer concerned.

I find it '' weird '' here.

If I want to make a '' printout '' of which magazines I have for my own, I first have to look between millions of images to see if the image is already there.

While I have the magazine in front of me, click, click with the camera, and put it in my archive.

You get '' crap '' in the inbox of '' that item is already in the catalog ''.

How that fascinates me.

But because it is already in the catalog my image is rejected and I am with half a catalog.

I think it's '' weird '' here.

Too bad you find it weird when it is so simple.
We have a catalog containing unique items. You can link these items to your collection with one click of the mouse, including the photos you have taken yourself.

Look up an item in the catalog, make sure it is exactly the same item as what you have yourself (pressure, language, etc.).
If convinced, click on "Add" in the orange box on the right and the item has been added to your own collection.
You can also indicate the condition and add more information, such as photos.

You can see your collection by hovering your mouse over your name in the top right corner and then clicking on "My collection".

It could be simpler, but I am much faster by entering my own photo on my list than having to struggle through millions of photos of others first.

Once I have entered everything, I will create a scan of my entered list (for my own archive) does not contain half of my imported photos.
