I wonder if there are more sellers who send with Post.nl get this e-mail "Oops, you paid too little for your package". After 20 years with Post.nl, never any problems, I get this email 3x within 1 week of sent packages and as a reason they give absurd dimensions or weight and whether you just want to pay a few euros more. If you are going to object, the status of your package will suddenly change to "not yet received by post.nl" ???

metalfigures I don't think those emails come from PostNL - You can forward them to phishing@postnl.nl - They can confirm whether the emails are genuine - If you have barcodes you can of course check the status via the PostNL site view - In case of insufficient shipping costs you will always receive a letter from PostNL with the amount you have to pay - Usually 3x the shipping costs as a fine and then you are not talking about a few euros.

I have no experience (I used to) with Post.nl metalfigures , but this seems very difficult to me. Did they mess it all up again? Nice if they also inform the customers when they make changes, or is there another new rookie who has to do everything his way again?.

It is teeming with these emails, supposedly from postnl, DHL, Fedex, and other postal companies, often in English, now apparently also in Dutch. I had previously reported it to LD but was called a fuss-maker. Whether those fake emails are dangerous after clicking links, I don't know, because I never click anything.

Because the fake emails came to me via Ziggo, I forwarded them as spam, but my email was promptly blocked by the Ziggo system. So I don't send them anymore. Because I then had contact with Ziggo, they have since recently ensured that no fake mail is received anymore, so it is now caught via Ziggo's Spam filters.

As far as I know, PostNL still sends a ticket for additional payment in case of too few "stamps", but if you can prove that it is nonsense, you can cancel the "fine" via digital objection. I've had 4 x such a card with also nonsense dimensions. And always "crossed out" after objection by postnl.

You never have a 100% guarantee. That it's safe.
If it sounds too good to be true, it usually isn't.
Do you find it suspicious? Better not respond then.
And metalfigures even if it were true that the sender has not paid enough 'postage': then logically there will be a response from the buyer after X time.

You're really not alone. The last time I was fed up, I was told via complaints compass that the control system is not only wrong with regard to what I know about the dimensions of my sent package, but that PostNL's own track trace versus that control system gives 2 completely different measurements. This is what I wrote to postnl the last time:
