De invulinstruktie bij nummertoevoeging bij strips is niet duidelijk.
Er wordt nu vermeld 'de gangbare uitgave krijgt letter a', dit leidt tot verwarring, want er wordt verondersteld dat er dan een wijziging uitgevoerd moet worden, als er een uitgave bijkomt, van de vorige versie en dat kan natuurlijk niet. Het mag niet zo zijn dat door de toevoeging van iets wat gangbaarder is, de vorige gangbare Catawiki items verherbouwd moeten worden...:-)

Dat is inderdaad niet de bedoeling dat verherbouwen, nee. De achterliggende gedachte was toen: als er 2 varianten zijn en de ene is bijv. een reguliere handelseditie en de andere een editie die in 100 genummerde exemplaren door een stripwinkel is verspreid dan krijgt de laatste de letter b. Zoiets.
Als dan plotseling de fik gaat in het distributiecentrum waar die handelseditie ligt opgeslagen en er worden slechts 10 exemplaren van dat boek gered, dan blijft hij de letter a houden, ook al is hij plotseling zeldzamer geworden dan variant b.

Een scan geeft meestal wel een mooier resultaat dan een foto.

Jullie hebben beide gelijk. Alleen beheerders kunnen de hoofdreeks aanpassen, en hebben dat voor de kampioenen inmiddels gedaan. Dus Sven kon zijn album inderdaad niet zelf aan de hoofdreeks toevoegen. maar JozefK ziet hem er nu wel tussenstaan.

You are both right. Only administrators can adjust the main series, and have already done so for the champions. So Sven could indeed not add his album to the main series himself. but JozefK now sees him there.

Is het misschien een optie om items voor een bepaald jaartal op slot te zetten? Het voorbeeld hierboven is algemeen geaccepteerd en aan deze 1e druk wijzigt niets meer. Ik vind het dan raar dat iedereen dit item mag wijzigen. Een item zoals dit (+35 jaar oud) zou makkelijk op slot kunnen, mocht je iets zinvols willen toevoegen, volstaat misschien een mailtje aan de beheerders.
Nu staat dit item verkeerd in de catalogus, totdat iemand dit opmerkt.
Zie trouwens dat de wijziging is verworpen terwijl ik dit mailtje tik, fantastisch!!!!

Albums kunnen inderdaad op slot. Wij noemen het bevroren. Echter niet alle velden worden meegevroren.
Velden zoals verhalen - bijzonderheden en de afbeeldingen worden nooit bevroren omdat wij van mening zijn dat dit soort informatie altijd verbeterd of aangevuld moet kunnen worden.
Het nadeel hiervan is dat iemand de goede afbeeldingen kan vervangen door de verkeerde. Het voordeel hiervan is dat er altijd mooiere afbeeldingen van covers kunnen worden geplaatst. De beheerders hebben er voor gekozen om het voordeel zwaarder te laten wegen dan het nadeel...

Albums can indeed be locked. We call it frozen. However, not all fields are also frozen.

Het zou voor de programmeurs toch niet al te moeilijk moeten zijn om de beheerders in staat te stellen om ook de afbeeldingen afzonderlijk te bevriezen.
In het geval van 1888649 zijn de plaatjes immers al optimaal en niet voor verbetering vatbaar. Ik zou hooguit nog willen weten wat afbeelding 3 precies is en waarom die erbij staat.
Overigens is dit album goedgekeurd en bevroren met een oplage van 48.....?!
