This morning a number of improvements have been made to the shops with the aim of making handling orders as easy as possible.

Order overview simplified
The overview with current orders has been simplified. For example, you can now directly change the status of 1 order. Furthermore, the first item in the order can also be seen and you can immediately send an email to the buyer.

Archive
You can now archive orders that have been fulfilled. You can do that per order, but you can also do that in bulk. These orders remain in the same status. So you can see exactly how an order was closed in your archive. You can also restore an order from the archive to the current orders.

Order status update
As soon as you change the status of an order, the buyer will be notified immediately via e-mail. You do not have to send an e-mail again separately if, for example, you have received a payment, or if you have sent an order.

Ev.t Discount and shipping costs
You can now also indicate this with an order if a discount may apply. A possible discount is taken into account when calculating the commission. Of course you do not have to pay any commission on that.

Cancel part of an order
You can now also cancel 1 or more lines in an order. You do this by clicking on the cross behind the relevant line. The question is then asked why you cancel the rule: no longer available or the buyer no longer wants this item in question. The deleted line remains neatly in the orders with a comment that the line has been deleted. Of course, the price of the relevant line will then be 0 euros.

Improved buyer email layout
The e-mail that is sent to the buyer with, for example, the order confirmation now contains the logo of your shop, supplemented with your address information.

Stock management pilot
With a number of shops that have registered for this, the stock management function is being tested from today. This ensures that as soon as something is ordered, the stock of the item in question is updated. As soon as the stock reaches 0, the item will be immediately removed from your shop.

Should an order or part of the order be canceled later, the relevant items will be returned to your shop. All notes and photos you have taken will of course be retained.

As soon as the tests have gone well, this functionality will be available for all shops.

What's next?
More features to come (in no particular order):

  • Improved My Shop page where you can see, among other things, what the most recent orders are, what has been sold in total in the current month and what the associated commission is.
  • To be able to temporarily close your shop, eg for a holiday.
  • Sending and printing an invoice
  • Standard rules for determining the shipping costs. Consider, for example, “Up to 25 euros, within the Netherlands 5 euros. Above that 7.50. ”

In addition, there are of course new functionality on the agenda that has nothing to do with shops. Highest on the list is calculating the value of your collection.
