Yes, that's why I'm reporting it. I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII and I am like many I think impatient and after a lot of waiting pressing that button works fine. I just think that was not the intention of that button, otherwise they would put different text on it.

Dear Catawiki employees,

Everything worked well on my iPhone 3GS and on my iPad 3. But just yesterday I installed a new iPhone 5 with the latest iOS and Catawiki refuses to synchronize on it. Tried several times today even reinstalling the app but sync doesn't work :-(

But works flawlessly on iPad 3 at the same time so problem with the app on iPhone 5???

Had this first added to another thread around last week's sync issues but fits better here.

@ KeromarTheFirst : K do you get a message that your collection has been retrieved and refreshed? If not, it appears that you have turned off the messaging service (push notification) for the app. To turn it on you have to do the following: - Click on Settings - Click on Notifications - Scroll down until you see Catawiki - And check that "Message center" is turned on. As soon as you have enabled that, request your collection again.

Hello Marco, first of all thanks for the quick response.

But I had already read the posts above and checked the reporting. It was turned on, but the sync still doesn't work on the iPhone despite several sync attempts and reinstallations from Catawiki (after waiting at least 5 minutes after the sync attempt). At the moment I still don't see any comic in my collection although it worked perfectly on my other device - an iPad 3 - this morning.

This is just a suggestion but the app can't send a ping back to your server if the sync fails within 5 minutes, 10 minutes or something? That way you will at least know when a sync fails and you can investigate and improve the app :-) It would be even better if the server tries to send the data back and after x attempts we get a message in the app that sync has failed and any reason. Makes troubleshooting easier for you and may ease our user frustration a bit.

Thank you if you can fix this quickly. I live in Sweden but travel back to Belgium once a month and that's this weekend. I had hoped to finally be able to replenish my comic collection correctly - thanks to Catawiki.

I also have problems with synchronizing via the App. It does not work on my iPhone 4S (with IOS 6.1) and on my iPad 1 (with IOS 5.1.1). The messaging is on for both devices.

Hi Marco, It works now indeed. Thank you for the fast service! Now I have one more question: On the iPad I get to see 2 offers with the daily offers (comics & amp; stamps / coins), on the iPhone I only see 1 offer, namely that of the comics . Since I installed iOS 6.1 on iPhone 4, the synchronization no longer works. only catawikin envelopes are put in the collection and search list. these can be seen under the comics as well as under the stamps. of the 18000 + pictures are still there but 2088 left. the data about CDs, books, DVDs, etc. have also disappeared. only the coin collection is (apparently) in tact. delete app and reseat, nothing helps. does anyone know a solution.

I still can't get to a sync with the iPhone4 6.1. Program expands as soon as the images need to be loaded. Have the message Grving on and no other apps on with 11GB free memory. Catawiki has already reinstalled three times and restarted the iphone several times. What can there be now to make it work. Oh yes, have 9000 items in the collection.

I am very curious, because it was annoying to get that error message every time.

And when will there be a major update for the app? You can replace that Simulate PNS button with a button that says Synchronize Now, because it will.

For a few weeks now, things that I have added to my collection are not shown in the app after synchronization. Incidentally, it does not apply to all things that I have added. One is shown, the other is not.

What I have a problem with is that only 2 scans are visible

That is nice if the deviation is in the cover lp etc but as soon as it is in the label, you have to click through on Catawiki and then you can only really view the item

I already mentioned this last week

Y so having a look at your collection does not work so scan 3 is missing
