ik bedoel hiermee dat je op het Forum vaak sneller bericht of antwoordt krijgt als bij de contact Pagina omdat daar ook vaak Catawiki medewerkers meelezen(bijv Tammo).

 Zorro heeft vragen gestelt (Contact Pagina/ Veilingmeester) en toe nu zo als hij schrijft niets gehoord

Ik zit niet zo vaak op NL Site`s maar om maar weer eens het voorbeeld aan te halen op Ebay.de bestaat het Forum ook uit verschillende onderdelen Bijv porto, versturen naar Buitenland, problemen met niet betaalers,Foto´s hoogladen, wat mag wel en wat niet bijv 18+ enz.

Daar worden duizende vragen gesteld die vaak door de wol geverfde gebruikers worden beantwoordt.

Dus waarom niet een Forum deel waar je Veiling vragen kunt stellen (het aantal veiling gebruikers wordt denk steeds grooter die veder ook niets met de Catalogus hebben) 6 weken nog een boek uit mijn Shop naar Japan verkocht die geen aangemelde gebruiker was dus ook niets met de Catalogus kan.

en dan ookeen Forum alleen voor de Catologus gebruikers dan voelt zich niemand lastig gevallen-:)

zo trouwens interresant te weten hoe de ver houding aan gebruikers tussen catalogus en alleen Veiling gebruikers is.

I mean by this that you often get a message or answer faster on the Forum than on the contact page because Catawiki employees often read along there (eg Tammo).

I don't visit NL Sites that often, but to quote the example on Ebay.de, the Forum also consists of various parts. For example, postage, sending abroad, problems with non-payers, uploading photos, what is allowed do's and don'ts e.g. 18+ etc.

Thousands of questions are asked there that are often answered by seasoned users.

So why not a Forum section where you can ask Auction questions (I think the number of auction users is getting bigger and they have nothing to do with the Catalog either) 6 weeks sold a book from my Shop to Japan who was not a registered user, so nothing with the Catalog can.

and then also a Forum only for the Catologus users then no one will feel harassed-:)

so by the way it is interesting to know how the ratio of users is between catalog and Auction only users.

As long as they are questions related to the catalog, I don't see any problems with that, there are no stupid questions, but stupid answers.

I have no problem with that but 90% they are not Catalog questions but people who think they have gold in their hands and sorry often have to search too lazily for themselves

last week answered a question about a coin just goooooo ... inside one minute found the set with http of the set answer given just look back set was only 20/25 € so value a coin ?? just a small answer gosh nice i couldn't find thanks or so little effort i thought so

I've also answered plenty of questions but don't ask for anything in return (to be honest, I never even thought about it)

The big problem with auction questions is that the regular forum visitors can hardly ever answer them. And those who can prefer not to answer the questions publicly. (Which is a shame, because we could all learn something from that.)

As a result, everyone (the questioners, the forum visitors and the auctioneers) will get annoyed by those topics. A separate auction forum does not solve that either.

So I think Arco's solution is the most effective.

What is worse is that the photos make it clear that this edition of the book was published in 1912 at the earliest (see photo 6 below).

Moreover, it seems to me a later binding of the normal softcover edition, since the print (photos 1 and 3) is actually the front cover of that softcover edition (see the "Paris" under the image, photo 3: the only reason it says it is that it was cut from the front cover). Remarkable lot in the Elvis Presley auction that started today (lot 131):

These seem to be Elvis' first five 78rpm records on the Sun label and should be worth at least a few thousand, but I wonder if they are original. These recordings were later rereleased by RCA and allow you to buy old unused Sun labels on ebay. Moreover, I don't see any record with a so-called "deep groove" (see: http://www.ebay.nl/itm/ELVIS-PRESLEY-SUN-78RPM-MYSTERY-TRAIN-/201299644869?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2ede64ddddd as well seller remarks "Unknown to me whether reissues at 78 rpm have been released". Unfortunately, the lot does not contain matrix numbers that could offer a solution. The originals are in fact engraved (including U-154) ...

@boekenmagazijn: that is not necessary (anymore) if there is an auction forum. Knowledge is then built up so that auctions can do something with each other.

About the vintage bicycle auction that starts on March 20, 2015 and ends on March 27.

In this vintage bicycle auction there are 2 lots (29 & amp; 30) that offer the same bicycle with exactly the same 15 photos, just in a slightly different order. They are also from the same seller and I'm afraid he will have a problem delivering the same bike to 2 buyers.

In addition, I am surprised to see three lots with brand new folding bikes (factory new from 2013 in unopened packaging) featured in a vintage bicycle auction.

The comic auction of Monday 8 June 2015, lot 73, shows the cover of DD 37 from 1955. The description mentions that the supplement from 1955: 37 is included in the lot, but is not depicted. I would advise the bidders to first ask whether the appendix (without number 37 on the cover and fewer pages, of course) is indeed included. Zulke items op de veiling mogen van mij gerust, maar het jeukt erg hard als je in de beschrijving dit leest:

Dan krijg je dus een zoekplaatje. Zoek de zeven fouten. Als je ze niet ziet, dan ben je gewoon gefopt!

Een eerlijke beschrijving zou vermelden dat de rug terug aan elkaar is gezet om nadien beklad te worden met rode verf om dit euvel te verdoezelen. Het aan elkaar zetten is niet zo goed gelukt dus is voor de zekerheid de eerste en de laatste pagina aan de kaft vastgelijmd. (Ik kan me vergissen, maar ik denk niet dat ik er ver naast zit.)

Geen probleem dat dit album aangeboden wordt, maar door de beschrijving die eigenlijk niets beschrijft komt dit bij mij erg (bewust) misleidend over.

Then you get a search image. Find the seven mistakes. If you don't see them, you've just been fooled!

An honest description would state that the back has been put back together and then daubed with red paint to cover up this defect. Putting it together didn't work out very well, so the first and last page have been glued to the cover just to be sure. (I could be wrong, but I don't think I'm far off.)

No problem that this album is offered, but because of the description that actually describes nothing, this comes across as very (deliberately) misleading to me.

in the book auction on Thursday June 18, lot 44, it should have been mentioned that the dust jacket is missing. All books have the same black dust jacket without print.

Since Tammo left, I don't have the feeling that an auctioneer is reading along here anyway.

As of April 1, I am indeed retired and therefore stopped working professionally for Catawiki. From that time on I am again an active volunteer as an administrator at the Comics and a moderator on the forum.

My successor as Head of Auctioneers is Patrick Vranken.

Fortunately, most communication about the auctions already goes through the most suitable way via the contact page and the links at the auctions. The forum is expressly intended for comments / questions about the catalog and not for the auctions.

The link to the viewing days (on page 1 of this topic at Tammo) no longer works for me. Is there a new link?

It doesn't work here either, but I think the comics still need to be scheduled
