Hopefully that original title will come. This is useful, because many books in English, mainly, have a completely different title in Dutch, such as Het Bernini Mysterie (originally Angels and Demons).
If you want to see the movie of that book, you know which movie it is. They have the original name.

Can the names "English literature", French literature, etc., be changed to English literature and so on for the types of books? A French-speaking Senegalese author belongs either to the French-language literature or to the Senegalese.
Or African. But usually not to the French in the narrow sense, unless he would have adopted French nationality in the meantime.

Can also add a field with translator. I know there are people who collect everything from Havank, and he has translated some Leslie Charteris books.

Kan iemand me uitleggen wat (in de categorie Boeken) precies het verschil is tussen “Serie” en “Boekenreeks”? Liefst met wat voorbeelden.
Ik twijfelde bij 859181 (net ingevoerd) waar ik de serienaam moest vermelden.

Can someone explain to me what (in the Books category) exactly is the difference between “Series” and “Book Series”? Preferably with some examples.
I was in doubt at 859181 (just entered) where to put the series name.

By series we mean names such as Dik Trom, Arendsoog, Winnetou etc.
Book series means something like Silver series and also “for rascals and dudes.
Maybe the rubric should be renamed to heroes or protagonists

Do you already know when we can enter the author for every story in a book?

It has not been scheduled exactly yet, but I do want to address this in the short term. The point is that a data conversion of all existing books is needed and that is drastic.

What is the difference between series and book series?

When do you fill in what?

A series refers to the content, a series to the form or. the outside.

Series is eg Paulus the forest gnome, Eagle eye, etc ...
Series is eg Black Bears, Bulk Book, etc ...

You enter something if it is a series or series, but leave it empty if it is not a series or series.

I actually only miss one type of book and that is Flyer, now I have to choose a folder if it only concerns 1 sheet. A folder or folding sheet is a folded (from English: to fold) piece of paper, printed with advertising.
