Hi Steve

I know quite a bit, but if you don't have the answer for a while, I also wonder if it is a country indication. But can you email me a scan? erik@catawiki.nl

Gaia is (Ancient) Greek for Mother Earth.
Do you recognize anything of this on your stamp?

I think it is also a place in Italy?

But at least not one of the places in Italy that has issued its own postage stamps in the past - unless it concerns "city stamps" or fantasy stamps ...

Which makes it immediately clear which country is involved: Sao Tome e Principe. An island state off the West Arican coast.
The currency is dobra (Db), so it is also declared.

Well, not every word on a stamp is a country name….

Prior to entering my stamps Yugoslavia, I see two sections:
1) Yugoslavia Kingdom (Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia) (from 1918 to 1926) (25 items)
2) Yugoslavia (from 1926 to 1999).

M.i. these two should be reduced to one heading “Yugoslavia”.
If the administrators agree, I will transfer the 25 items from section 1) to 2) by simply changing the field “country”.
After that, the section “Yugoslavia Kingdom (Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia)” can be deleted by the administrators on occasion.

From Wikipedia:
_Yugoslavia was the name of several consecutive states in Southeastern Europe in the Balkans between 1918 and 2003. The capital was always Belgrade. From 2003 the country was called Serbia and Montenegro, in 2006 it fell apart into Serbia and Montenegro.

* The first Yugoslavia (1917-1942) was a monarchy, which would not be called that until 1930, and eventually functioned as a royal dictatorship, until it was dismantled by the Germans. From 1918 to 1929 it was called the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and from 1929 to 1941 the Kingdom of Yugoslavia; * The second Yugoslavia (1943-1992) was the most famous: the communist state led by Josip Broz (better known by his cover name and later nickname Tito). It was called the Federal Democratic Republic of Yugoslavia from 1943 to 1945, the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia from 1945 to 1963 and the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1963 to 1992; * The Third Yugoslavia (1992-2003) emerged from the Yugoslav War. It included Serbia and Montenegro. Its official name was Federal Republic of Yugoslavia._

New Guinea (New Guinea) the British colony. Got stamps of this from 1932-1935. Only Dutch stamps can be seen under New Guinea and nothing under British Indian Ocean Territory. Where should I look?

Also confusing is: Russia, Soviet Union, Okraine. Have an unused series of 5 ch - 75 ch. ( PYCCKAR NOYTA) Where should I add now under that? Or has anyone come across this series somewhere?

Be very careful with adding, because later you will find a seal somewhere else.
