Has the construction of the mobile website been completely abandoned? I only get errors now. It is really different from the app and not everyone can just see the entire site on his or her mobile phone. Unfortunately!

Let's hope so! Lately I have been visiting the mobile version of websites more and more as they load and display much faster. I remembered this version of CataWiki (it doesn't automatically choose the mobile version, which many other websites do) and decided to visit it again.

It also looks very nice and professional, but so as soon as you want to see details, you will get the error message that something went wrong. For example, I wanted to take a look at the Dutch postcards on that site (Catalog - & gt; Postcards - & gt; Countries - & gt; The Netherlands) and that went well, until I chose the Netherlands.

I wonder how long it is and hope it will be resolved soon.

If I synchronize my collection and search list with the app, I press Simulate PNS after the registration request sent. Usually it starts to refresh the database right away.

I have had it start synchronizing again immediately after it was finished.

By the way, the mobile phone version is slightly different from the CataWiki app. You cannot access the CataWiki Catalog with the app and you can with the mobile phone version. Very handy!

Only the search function does not work for me yet. For example, if I type something in the search field for Postcards under a certain search category (countries, city names or something else), then I miss the search button and cannot search.

The difference with the desktop version of CataWiki is also that you don't see a gallery of photos here, but a title list.
