Music/Discophone Singles76 messages

I put everything from my collection on CataWiki. This shows that the years 63-64-65 are sparsely represented. So I still have a lot to do! I want to finish this "project" properly first.

As you know, the LPs were released after the single period. Maybe this is something for others to pick up on and record this bit of V & amp; D history.

Meanwhile, another 30 Discophone singles have been added to the catalog. I would like to get in touch with collectors of this label. After an updated administration, this now concerns 222 (223) singles.

Indeed my placed single still says "Embassy" and looks slightly different. 100 Singles ... when I consider how many were in it and what was released from this label within a year, I am in good spirits that this will work. People who are interested in this surprising series will undoubtedly want to participate in this project.

Only Fellowfoon (which preceded Discophone) comes off poorly, probably not everyone knows that these singles from V & amp; D were.

JOAN BAXTER ... a star from Embassy Records' "stable". I found her 38 times on these singles (45Cat). However, she is 6 times on the disco. No CDs have been made of her. On YouTube I saw some songs, but not the Discophone songs. Who will help me?

As you can see in our Catalog I bought 1960 - 1961 - 1962 from Embassy Records. The publishers from England are waiting with the publication of 1963 - 1964 - 1965 because of European regulations.

From their email: "We are not able to go beyond 1962 because of the change in the copyright laws in the EU which extended copyright in recordings to 70 years, so that material will not go into the public domain until 2033. "

If I want to enter a new item, all links work ... except "Enter a new track" ... when I click on that, I get the plain text, which I can't use ... All my previous items went well ... so far.

I can't enter new tracks anymore ... tried many times ... who can help me ... Arco? ...

The individual tracks are entered by Dick52. When I click on "Add new track" I get to the flat screen ... still ... this has been the case for 3 days.

Hello FransS, I don't have the Discophone recordings from Joan Baxter. She is only 6 times in the Discophone list. I'd love to hear what they sound like.

BTW I added the tracks of a number of singles you entered and I had no problem. You may have to restart the browser once. Or empty the cache.

I followed your tip: cleared cache ... computer started several times ... computer completely cleaned several times.

However, that one link "Insert new track" sends me directly to an entire story, in which I cannot save anything. Nobody seems to have a problem, why do I?

I discovered something else ... when I entered the title, I got the data, which is in the catalog ... e.g. She Loves You ... then all kinds of pictures appear ... Now nothing at all. Is the site working okay for everyone, or just a problem for me?

No, but with the last 3 singles entered I was suddenly able to access them again by means of change ... ra-ra-ra ...

Thanks FransS! ... only these aren't her Discophone songs. I found 11 of her songs elsewhere, but not those 6 songs that are on Discophone. I would like to hear it.

Today posted 10 of the 35 Fellowfoon singles from V & amp; D (the predecessor of the Discophone singles).

However, when I want to enter a new item, I get the message from the manual ... no more pictures appear when entering the title, and the tracks can no longer be entered.

Daarentegen heeft Only the Lonely 6421863 een iets ander label dan 5631893 (afgezien van die stukken ducttape natuurlijk). Misschien verstandig omdat erbij te vermelden, voordat iemand ze voor doublures aanziet.

I think Sixteen Reasons 6421841 is a duplicate of 3327053 .

In contrast, Only the Lonely 6421863 has a slightly different label than 5631893 (apart from those pieces of duct tape, of course). It might be wise to mention this before someone mistakes them for duplicates.

The duplications arise, because I no longer receive any announcements (images) about this when entering.

I would like to get a solution for the following:

After logging in I want to enter an item ... when entering the title no pictures appear (only the message from the manual ) ... then everything goes well ... until entering the tracks ... I am immediately clicked through to the plain text (with which I cannot do anything else). Now others are kind enough to enter the tracks, but I want that myself! Is there an error in the website?
