Tales From The Crypt 5 HC volumes in hardcover slipcase, published by Russ Cochran, EC, 1979 Edited & by A. Feldstein, written by A. Feldstein, William M. Gaines & others. Reprinting "Tales From the Crypt" entirely, issues #17-46, in black and white with beautiful color reproductions of the original covers inside and on the hardcoverbooks / slipcase covers. The Crypt Keeper's first two appearances were in the closing issues of Crime Patrol (#15 & 16). Issue #17 needed a new title to usher in EC' New Trend. It got one with The Crypt Of Terror. After complaints, issue #20 was changed to Tales From The Crypt. After MAD, this is the name most commonly associated with Entertaining Comics (EC). After early covers by several EC artists, Jack Davis drew all covers from the thirteenth issue (#29) until the end. With adaptations of short stories by Ray Bradbury. With stories from Johnny Craig, Al Feldstein, Harvey Kurtzman, Wally Wood & others.
