Le Mans Blue The HB, Vauxhall’s second generation Viva, had arrived in 1966 with the GT version modelled here arriving two years later. The GT used parts from the much larger FD Victor, notably its brakes, 1975cc 104BHP engine and close ratio 4 speed gear box. With a 0-60 time of 10.7 seconds and a 100mph official maximum speed the Viva GT represented good value at £1022. Early versions had a matt black bonnet, which was deleted in October 1969.
