Hallo
mvg, Tim
Hello
it might be possible as soon as you put something in your shop, that 1 copy of it also automatically appears in your collection. After all, if you have something in duplicate and want to sell, then you also have one of them.

hallo Tim
hello Tim
that is not logical because Catawiki is also intended for 'traders' and that does not apply ...
And what if you plan to sell part of your own collection? Then this operation will only make your collection bigger and bigger ...

@ Moritz, it does not seem to me that the moment you sell an item, it will of course also be purchased in your own collection
When selling you have the option to indicate the number of times you have an item for sale, I can imagine 10 times, then you have 10 pieces at that time and in your own collection as soon as you sell items both decrease .
So thinks the idea is really an improvement.

I think you are mistaken. When selling, 1 is subtracted from the sales amount, but not 1 from your collective amount. I thought.

and why would you want to align collection and items to be sold? I sell items that I don't have in my collection. I do have them at home, but they are not part of a collection. So that's something else. In addition, it is suggested to add an item in the shop to the collection as well, which is mutually exclusive ...

@ Arco, you are right about that now you have to do this manually. (is technically easy to solve)
@ Morits, I have a few items in duplicate and I have them for sale but still in my collection, they are still part of my collection ..
and actually you are in 2 hats
the collector.
the Seller / Trader.
and this bites each other should be seen in isolation.

sorry Dick, but the suggested "if an item is put in the shop, put it in your collection automatically" is incorrect. If you do that, you will have anyone who wants to sell a book. It is a fallacy and has nothing to do with 2 hats.
The simple fact that I have a book for sale does not mean that it is also in my collection. Because how do I get a book that is in my collection for sale if that automatically means that it will be returned to my collection just as hard as I put it in the shop?

hi Moritz of course if you have this item in your collection, you own that item anyway!
And assume that you keep the best copy for yourself (is of course not always true). and put the other up for sale.
Suggestion is if you put an item that is new to you in your shop, you also automatically place this item in your collection,
I also have a number of items duplicate in my collection and not everything in my shop that is duplicated.
if you place the item in your shop in your case you will indeed have to delete it once from your own collection, but if you have not yet added that item to your collection and you place it in your shop then it just does justice to you collection that has then been increased by 1 or more times.
With newly added items you will already receive that choice in collection and / or in shop

I don't think you get it yet, you are not waiting for extra work to remove an item from your collection every time because it has ended up there incorrectly. Why do you think that a book in your shop is automatically part of a Collection? How about the pure shops ???????????????? They don't have a collection (!?)
Any option that just means extra work for everyone to accommodate maybe a individual should be banned.

I think I get it.
But I don't wear two hats, I just collect and now and then some about what one can buy.
But what is the difference from what is in a collection or what is sold?
the extra work that goes into something for me as a collector (and that is quite a bit of time that I spend on it) is filling in half a dozen traders who want to score quickly without adding to the catalog.
see also suggestions Photo mandatory for more expensive item in shop
How about the pure shops ???????????????? They don't have a collection (!?)
they only have an interest in the marketplace and it shows, no addition to the catalog if you ask.
The good ones are of course excluded and fortunately there are too. they don't really take time.
check this one out 933187 ?
