Waarom is het zo lastig om informatie te vinden over munt(meester) tekens te vinden… Weet iemand een goede bron? Voor de euromunten heb ik een site, maar van een hele hoop andere munten kun je niets vinden over tekens. Het is vaak zelfs lastig uit te maken wat het teken voorstelt, laat staan dat je het dan nog de goede naam kunt geven (bv hoorn des overvloeds/cornucopia).
Een mooie opsomming zou voor mij een aanwinst zijn.
Wie helpt me?
Why is it so difficult to find information about currency (master) tokens… Does anyone know a good source? I have a site for the euro coins, but you can't find anything about signs from a lot of other coins. It is often even difficult to say what the sign represents, let alone give it a proper name (eg cornucopia / cornucopia).
A nice list would be an asset to me.

Wat voor informatie ovcer de tekens zoek je dan?
De pdf in de 1ste link van boekenbytes is compleet met muntteken, muntmeester en jaartal van wanneer de munten geslagen zijn.

mooie sites allemaal, maar wat ik eigenlijk zoek is zo’n soort opsomming zoals die daar staan voor Nederlandse munten (die ik dus ook heb in mijn catalogus), maar dan van Noorse, Mexicaanse, Amerikaanse enz. munten. Kortom van alles behalve Nederlands. In Krause staat er soms wel wat vermeldt, maar dan voornamelijk als onderscheidend kenmerk. Als het niet onderscheidend is, dan staat er vaak niets over vermeld. Wat betekent bijvoorbeeld de MO op een mexicaanse munt en wat betekent de MK op de Slowaakse. Ik vind het raar dat daar nog geen mooie site voor is, maar ‘maybe it’s me’.

all beautiful sites, but what I'm actually looking for is such an enumeration like the ones there for Dutch coins (which I also have in my catalog), but of Norwegian, Mexican, American, etc. coins. In short, everything except Dutch. Krause sometimes mentions something, but mainly as a distinctive feature. If it is not distinctive, then often nothing is mentioned about it. For example, what does the MO mean on a Mexican currency and what does the MK mean on the Slovakian one. I think it's strange that there isn't a nice site for that yet, but "maybe it's me".

Wat betekent bijvoorbeeld de MO op een mexicaanse munt en wat betekent de MK op de Slowaakse.
MO wil zeggen dat het in Mexico-stad is geslagen, MK wil zeggen ‘Mincovna Kremnica’.
For example, what does the MO mean on a Mexican currency and what does the MK mean on the Slovakian one.
MO means it was beaten in Mexico City, MK means "Mincovna Kremnica".
Ook enig idee waar de R en de D voor staan op de Tsjecho-Slowaakse 10 haleru (of iig op deze)?
