Hi my name is September and I have a 1989 no mint mark penny and it looks as if he has star on the tie and the rim looks gray and the sides are really really raised and after the words one cent it looks to have a dot not a small one either but u can really see it in the light I just started collecting coins and would love to know more about this certain penny for now I have others but like I said I’m new Thanks guys
Hallo, mijn naam is september en ik heb een muntstuk uit 1989 zonder muntteken en het lijkt alsof hij een ster op de das heeft en de rand ziet er grijs uit en de zijkanten zijn echt heel verhoogd en na de woorden één cent lijkt het alsof er geen punt is ook een kleine, maar je kunt het echt in het licht zien Ik ben net begonnen met het verzamelen van munten en zou graag meer willen weten over deze bepaalde cent want nu heb ik andere, maar zoals ik al zei, ik ben nieuw Bedankt jongens
Hi I'm afraid your cent coin is not very valuable or collectable. The dots etc you're noticing are due to normal use and corrosion. The cent is a zink center and has copper plating on it. The zinc easily corrodes and this gives minor spots etc.
