Is there a recent general/complete catalogue of the A.V.E.? I have only knowledge of partial (for example Spanish series) or thematic catalogues (like Fauna or Indios de America).

These are all interesting sites indeed, but they don't provide a separate and systematic catalogisation of cigar bands. The site of Gerard follows mainly the different AVB catalogue numbers or references.

Postzegelrubriek Nederland is leuk: NVPH is lekker voorzien.

The problem is in the same vein as for the Stamp section. This has already been responded to as 'Missed opportunity'.
Internationalization has the effect of attracting collectors from all over the whole world ... and repulsing them, if there is no reference to their 'trusted' local ( official) catalogue. It can't get in, and it won't come out :)
Deviate first (other section), to get back to the core of this question, specifically for cigar bands, return. It is not a local problem, but structural for various sections.
Stamp section Netherlands is nice: NVPH is well provided. Search and sort to your heart's content. Nice for the Netherlands. While 99.9% of the world's population is wondering: NVPH ... what is that to me? And I've been asked that question a few times. No, it's not in the manual, because everyone knows the NVPH, right? Yes, everyone from one small country in the North by the sea ;)
Imagine that as a Dutch person, and a user of the LD Stamp Catalog of the Netherlands, you DO NOT have the NVPH field. Well, the users from hundreds of other countries have the same feeling when using the stamp catalogue..
repeat ... September 16, 2021 18:21 (as a missed opportunity ...):
Make the field country-specific by means of one additional label field. Let the administrator of a country (area) determine which catalog (for the Netherlands and colonies: NVPH, for Belgium and colonies + EX AREAS: OBP, for Indonesia: Zonnebloem, ...) and always show the 2 together.
Back to the cigar bands: you could use the same principle in the section cigar bands, Coins, Trading Cards, Phone cards, ...
Spain is the country of collectors. And especially vitophilia.
Finding a specific solution for one country in one section ... then you fall into the same trap as when the site was created (set up). While a general and nice solution is so obvious.
The current catalogs (2) used in cigar bands are specific for the low countries. One (AVB) only mentions catalog numbers by series level, the other (Romkes) I don't know whether it is current, or whether it has been/will be updated? And whether it is so complete (the whole world)?
What also strikes me is that, for example, for the AVB catalog number field, there is nothing provided for sorting on cigar bands, and neither is it at the filters (left part of the screen).
Series are provided, but then as a user from Spain, for example, you must have knowledge of the Dutch language. Whereas, if a Spanish collector had the AVB catalog and the field were provided with the filters, he would be able to find and select the correct series much easier when looking up. I think so.

This is on the wish list, as soon as we start working on the new fields, this will be included.
I can also contact me here for other sections that use external (current) catalogues. propose something. Such wishes can therefore be made known in the relevant topic: Wishes for new fields.....

The discussion goes in all directions again, to arrive at postage stamps. :-)
Vitolin's original question was an optional extra field for catalog numbers/references from the Spanish AVE. The AVE simply does not have a recent and global catalog of cigar bands. There are several very interesting inventories/catalogues of sub-areas, but no overarching or uniform structure.
If necessary, references to various Spanish-language sub-catalogues can be placed freely in the comments boxes.
So it has nothing to do with Benelux navel-gazing or a lack of international vision.
There is no such thing as a 'world catalog' for cigar bands. The only one, under construction, is on Lastdodo.
The AVB has also mapped foreign series, and in particular those from Spanish-speaking areas.
The late Joop Romkes has very graciously cooperated and granted his permission at the start of the section in 2011 to publish images from his catalogues. His catalog of factory tires (which has not been supplemented after his death) is still current as a reference point for older Benelux brands. It was only befitting and a tribute to his pioneering work around tabacology to provide a field Romkes nr.

It was not the intention to end up on another rubric Martinel , just to show that it is also a point in other rubrics. And that the renovation of an existing field could perhaps provide a good addition/solution in all sections on LD.
I'm just trying to think along, maybe it will contribute to solutions.
Love the story behind the data. Background is always interesting and fun. Anyone who has only been working on LD for a few years (like myself) cannot possibly know that.
