If you browse someone's shop, you can see in the detail page of an item whether it is in your search list. Could such a status also be added if the item is in your collection? So in addition to 'Match with your search list' also 'Match with your collection'.
It would be even better if this is visible in the list view, then you can quickly scroll through someone's shop and immediately see whether you are looking for items , or already have them.

We've already been working on the design:
If it's either in your wish list or in your collection or in your shop, we'll display with written text as with the top item.
If it is in more than 1 list, we indicate it with icons as with the bottom item.
The intention is to have this working in the short term have.

yes/not in my search list?
You can already filter on "it is in your search list", right? Why would you want to filter by Not in your search list?
yes/not in my collection
A filter with "what you don't have in your collection" has been requested many times, I think.
The point is what you do with conditions.
Would you take that into account or not?
So: you have stamped a certain stamp , do you want to see the same stamps MNH as those offered in your collection?
This could still work for stamps, but if you have a strip in eg Mint condition, you do not expect that you will find the same strips in "Near mint condition" at "Not in collection".
yes/not in my shop
That seems the least important to me, right? What kind of application do you see for it yourself

Hi Rene
yes/not in my collection
I once started to mark the stamps in my collection as Stamped, regardless of condition. That was back in the Catawiki era. Don't ask me why, and I do regret it, because you can't correct that en masse.
So fitness doesn't matter to me. I can imagine that it is different for others.

yes/not in my shop
If I sell an item myself, I don't need to see it in someone else's shop. Little chance of me wanting to buy it.
yes/not in my search list
I explained once before that I'm using the list of values a bit improperly. I (also) place stamps there that I have requested on other platforms (buy/exchange). So if they're in my wish list, that means I don't have to buy them from a LastDodo shop. I also understand that this conflicts with the actual use.
All in all, it would be nice if you could choose: no filter, but in shop/collection/list of values, not in shop/collection/list of values. And: match condition Yes/No.

V.w.b. verzameling: ok, duidelijk.
Of omgekeerd.
Vwb. collection: ok, clear. Maybe you should just take a day off and check everything in terms of condition :-)
If I sell an item myself, I don't need to see it in someone else's shop. Little chance that I want to buy it.
But it could be that you, or someone else, sells a postmarked stamp but is still looking for that same stamp MNH, right? Or vice versa.
So if they're in my search list, that means I don't have to buy them from a LastDodo shop.
Well, that's not what the search list is intended for :-)

Prio 4 is up and running, en par excellence.
Indeed. Glad someone else is also shining the light
The basics still remain : 'the colored or uncolored icons show wherever an item appears'. Then you always and everywhere know how the item is situated for yourself: whether or not in the collection, search list and/or shop. Without extra clicks and screens. That was PRIO 1 of my wish list that I had shoved under the Christmas tree in December 2021. It's somewhere on the forum.
Having a check box 'Not marked' in a shop would be very useful. I'd like to see the items on offer that I don't have in collection, not in wishlist, and not in shop (because if I sell them I don't want to collect them).
That 'fish pond' makes a huge difference whether or not to place an order in a shop. To make an order worthwhile.
Now I put two screens next to each other: shop and catalog. Constantly searching and scrolling in 2 screens as the eyes have to roll from left to right, and from top to bottom. After several hundred items I no longer see any difference between blue, green and gray. Then they all become twinkling stars. As a result: every time I order a few that I actually already have. Staring at it for hours ... that makes you ture-a-lure. That way you don't start a second order in the same week. While otherwise you could safely place 3 orders on the same day.
With postage stamps (and I suspect also other categories such as cigar bands) you do not make an order for one item. An order only becomes interesting from 100 items.
That was my PRIO 2 from my wish list to LD Santa :)
It will never happen, that prio 1 and 2.
SVZ with regard to that wish list: 1 wish has come true. 9 others don't.
My Prio 3 eg will live on as a dream.
Prio 4 is up and running, and par excellence. Prio 5 is apparently too simple.
And then I come to my priority 6, which I would really like to promote to priority 1. I haven't been able to export anything for more than a year, that is slowly starting to take off.
Just provide a total export per country/region in CSV or Excel. Then you can keep the old Excel technology from 20 years ago (limited to about 65,000 lines) if that were the problem. I don't think there is a single country/territory with 65,000 items in the catalog yet.
But with such an instrument I would quickly reach the hotbeds of disaster and nonsense as an administrator, so that they can be done quickly and properly (structural) could be addressed. And perhaps other administrators too?
For the total export (of a country/region), make 3 extra columns 'shop - collection - wish' and put a cross (regardless of quantity or condition). Then it will also benefit collectors who do not contribute to quality improvement. Same sweat, more yield.

Yes, that's right. But I don't know which one, so I have to go through them all anyway. And 50,000 is also a minority ;)

In a shop I see for Tonga
Either I have to click through a number of times to get into the item in the catalog to see that I already have:
or that I don't have it yet:
Either do I have to put a window next to it with the catalog (where the icons are stand). But then sorting is very important, good eyes too, and you have to scroll a lot (and move your eyes. From left to right, from top to bottom). After every order in this way, it takes at least a week before the appetite is back.
First the 2 windows side by side, and then set the sorting in the same way.
Then scroll in the right part until you see the seal. Only then will you find the icons.
I don't have these:
I do have these:
That's really not a thing to do!
Put your own icons next to the image of the item in that shop! That saves hours of work!

Maybe, I don't see the shop that way at the moment, so I can't know.
As long as I can directly see that an item is already in collection in a shop or not. Then I don't have to put it in my shopping cart.
Because of all those detours (scrolling, clicking, sorting, eye movements) you quickly lose track (and the appetite).
In shops sometimes people 70,000 stamps for sale.
There are some that I really want, and they are in my search list.
Disadvantage of a large collection and pronounced preferences: sometimes there are only a few hits in a shop. I will not place an order for 3 stamps.
Then I want to remove the ballast from those 70,000 items to be able to continue searching whether an order cannot be made beautiful after all.
The stamps on offer that I do not have in collection: I want to see it (or quickly recognize it). Those are also wishes (but not a priority) for me.
Examine 70,000 stamps one by one (click-click-click ... I already have ... return ... where was I actually ...) is unnerving. Above all: it is additional. Secondary desired: to complete the collection. Not desired as a priority.
Of those 70,000, there is a good chance that I already have 68,000 in my collection.
View 2,000 items, with a very good chance of shopping cart ... as opposed to viewing 70,000 items that afterwards usually turn out to be already have ...

Concerns the condition:
If you think the condition is important, then you are in a priority search area. In other words, the item is in your wish list.
The secondary wishes ... I simply collect everything from all over the world. That's where the fun is mainly filling holes. If I get one stamped and I had it MNH, I'll keep it. But I'm not fishing for it. Once I have a certain seal (whatever the condition) then that gap is filled (in collection).
If the fishpond becomes 'priority' too limited, I can still decide to promote another area. Then the holes also go into the search list. And then the condition is included in the matching. Then I put it in my search list with condition stamped. Because it doesn't matter.
Matching on condition should also be viewed with caution. If you have a stamp MNH, and you want it stamped as well... In your search list you should of course put 'stamped'. You will then receive all offers of that condition, but also those that are considered 'higher'. So also the unused (who actually wants unused?) and the MNH.

Nog heel even geduld.
Maybe so, I don't see the shop that way at the moment, so I can't know.
As long as I can directly see that an item is in a shop already in collection or not. Then I don't have to put it in my shopping cart.
So that's what we are doing
Just a little more patience.
If, in addition to a filter "In list of values", there would also be a filter "Not in collection or shop" then you therefore do not look at the condition for that last filter
So if you have a stamp stamped in your collection then you do not need to see an offered unstamped same stamp after checking this filter?

->
->
->
->
Dit is al gerealiseerd.
->
Dit staat op onze lijst
->
7. Veld 'uitgever' in rubriek postzegels.
->
Start to document.
Betere plaats voor die belangrijke basisdocumentaie.
Verbeterde werking achtergrondpagina's (opmaak, layout, bereikbaarheid, ...).
->
->
->
post your other wishes here
Community search box (Search the forum): 'wish list Christmas tree' ... bottom post of 4.
1. The 3 (hopefully someday 4) icons with their correct color on each item throughout the site.
You indicate something in collection or wish list to be reminded of it ... Reminders are necessary from a certain age :)
->
So this is being worked on for marketplace and shops (if 1 icon applies to an item that is for sale, we show it in green with a short explanation so that newcomers understand it better; if more icons apply than show we all 2 or 3)
Are there more urgent places where the icons should be shown
2. Match with 'not indicated' in Marktplaats (in the shops).
That would make hours of work difference on every order. Selection of the offered items that are not in the collection, but also not in the wish list. Less labour-intensive = more time for other (more) orders.
->
So this would be a "Not in collection or shop" filter, discussed in this thread.
3. The 4th list 'on order' with icon.
Would make a difference financially. When ordering from multiple suppliers in the same period, an item is often purchased several times. A negative budget compared to other shops.
->
What we could perhaps do is place an (orange or red) warning on items in the shop or marketplace if this is in an order that is not older than X weeks.
I don't think it's so much an icon that we should introduce site-wide, but more a notification for a shop item / marketplace item.
Then I don't think take into account the condition
4. Easier processing of the items of an incoming order.
The number of clicks when processing the received items is now uncountable...
->
This has already been achieved.
5. A country-territory custom box for catalog number.
Man, how I would like to be able to search and sort on the OBP for my favorite collection areas Congo, Rwanda, Burundi ... And for the former Dutch areas (such as Suriname and Indonesia) on Zonnebloem. Or Edifil near Spain, Andorra, Fernando Poo, Ifni, Rio Muni, Tangier, Spanish Guinea, Spanish Morocco, Spanish Sahara, ... Or Sakura near Japan ...
->
This is on our list
6. A total export of an area/country (with columns X cfr the designation in the lists).
In CSV format, so that I can work with self-made tools for all my wishes and research. Both as a collector, provider, buyer and manager.
->
We are first working on improving the current exports. That's almost done.
7. Field 'publisher' in section stamps.
To be able to get a better and more well-defined overview on the screen (especially) with production work (including cardboard film studio).
->
It's on the list and I expect it to be done shortly.
8. Better documentation management and use.
More, current and more extensive handbooks per section (all sections). Start to document.
Better place for that important basic documentation.
Improved operation of background pages (layout, layout, accessibility, ...).
->
Maybe you could help
What exactly would you like to change about the background pages?
They already got a new layout last year.
9. A simple setup for trading
Including the option to make your search list public.
->
We have not dealt with this yet.
10. Better use of the 'profile'.
More mandatory information to be completed in the profile (first name and country of origin).
Activity recognition (last time on the site e.g.).
->
The problem here is that not every user needs to enter their real name and country of origin. If you start selling, it is now the case that country is mandatory.
With regard to displaying user activity, you also have privacy issues.

Klopt.
True. That would be perfect for me.
If you don't have it in collection, and you want to buy an offered item, it doesn't matter.
if it does matter (the condition) then you work through the search list. Then you are picky :)

because of going over my Christmas list :)
As just mentioned, 1 has been performed 'par excellence'. That was nr 4.
For 1 and 2 I am waiting eagerly.
For nr. 3 a signal is sufficient. To know 'Warning, you currently have this item on order'. You can still investigate in detail at that time. Although I like the system of the icons the best. But that was in the spirit of 'showing icons and image together anytime, anywhere'.
I would let the signal (positive green box around the item?) play depending on the status. As long as a buyer has not given feedback, that green frame will remain around. No more 'forgetting' to give feedback. Giving feedback is part of it, to complete the deal nicely.
Or, if the status is set to 'Cancelled' (I have no experience with that, all my agreements have always been fulfilled).
Only ...if the seller does not respond to an order ... I have no answer on how to handle that. All my sellers are only too happy to respond :)

It would be even better if that was visible in the list view, so you can quickly scroll through someone's shop and immediately see whether you are looking for items, or whether you already have them.
It is indeed missing under marketplace.
That's where the icons are now.
