/nl/areas/search?type_id=223&q=spectral+lynx

I have found the existing map, but I have a more expensive / rarer version "foil" as it is called .
I removed the "copy of" from the title here, but now you actually see no difference in the search and results - outside of the photo.
Is it more convenient to put "(foil)" in put the title?
Or is it possible to also show the rarity in the results as part of the item?
I only have a dozen more of these cards left, so I thought it would be useful to know an answer to this before I enter it - to save time and not have to adjust it afterwards;)

@bbrtki

Although this is not my domain by any means, this does intrigue me.
When I search for Spectral Lynx I now see 2 items that have the same data. Only the photo is slightly different, but you have to click through (enlarge the image). An untrained eye (such as such cards) does not immediately see the difference.
Perhaps it is allowed to highlight the detail that makes that card so special as the second photo? For the special item 'foil' there is now a white void that has not been used (in the search results).
I am not an administrator so I do not know if this is allowed, but ... who is silent agrees? :)
Because we have recently been able to place images in the posts here, a picture that clarifies the above:

With stamps it is allowed to put a little more in the title to make the difference clear. I don't know if that is generally applicable in other sections ... The super administrator alone can answer that because he determines the rules.
What I do see is that both cards have a LastDodo catalog value. But it does not appear in the overview for these cards. No idea why this is not visible. If that value were shown, this would also provide a lot of clarity about the rarity.

Thank you Fazerco, I didn't know that. Not both. I still have so much to learn.
The advantage of my ignorance is that things can be said (via the forum). Can everyone learn from.
It is a pity that the second image, which is shown in the search results, cannot be used to visually clarify between similar - but different - items.
In stamps (among the older ones from the Netherlands) I do see that, on the first image, clever people use paint to put frames when there is something peculiar to see that makes a stamp special. Is this allowed?
And to come back to the initial question in this thread: is it allowed to add "(foil)" in the title of Trading Cards or is there another rule for that?

It would be useful if when making a copy - the images were included as well. Especially with trading cards it is not very useful to add the back 2x, because it is identical for all cards, unless it is a misprint.
But indd, in terms of "foil" we need a better display method . Possibly in the title, or something else. Because only the picture is difficult to see.

Thanks for asking your questions here, you already see several responses to the questions.
Thanks for asking your questions here, you already see several responses to the questions.
Is it more convenient to put "(foil)" in the title?
Short and to the point: no, it is not more convenient.
The intention is to keep the name as it is on the trading card.
If the card name is Spectral Lynx foil, for example, If foil is not listed, it is not allowed and you can choose in the Type of foil field. The type is then visible in the search terms.
Regarding image 2: it should be added as much as possible, but so far it is not a reason to reject an item.
By entering the 2nd image you can also see the back of the trading card, so please enter if possible.
It would be useful if when making a copy - the images were also included.
The intention is to enter with your own images so that it is clear that the item is in someone's possession.
So copies of the pictures are not desirable in a catalog and will not be imported.
But indd, in terms of "foil" we need a better rendering method. Possibly in the title, or something else. Because only the picture is difficult to see.
So it is not going to be the title or it must be in the name as I indicated above.
Then it will depend on the importer how sharp / clear the photo is to show the difference.
I hope it is now a bit clearer what can and may be done when entering a new item.

A solution could be to have the option Number addition, just like with comics.
Or add a or b after card number.
And then fill in, for example, Foil at specials
Thank you for taking part in this, but I already reject 2 of the 3 and explain below why:
We only add a letter behind the card number if it is actually stated on the card as part of the item.
See the items below as an example:
# 4263381
# 4263383
For the details field I take a line from the manual (page 23, The details field):
This field is intended for all information that may be important for the identification of the item and that you cannot enter in the other fields.
Foil can be entered in field type and with that it is no longer useful to enter it in the details.
I do not want to reject the Number addition option immediately, but I do not think it is of any use to to enter this in the trading cards as well. The series are all (un) numbered and have been ordered by the manufacturer on the checklists. In the vast majority of series, the special cards are often separate from the regular cards, so that they are not next to each other when entered into the catalog.
