Kan iemand mij vertellen hoe de kleurendruk is ten opzichte van de oorspronkelijke 1e HC reeks ? Benadert dat een beetje de mooie oude kleuren ?

Morits, iemand had mij een serie van die uitgaven aangeboden, maar ja ik denk wat moet ik er nog mee ... Van de buitenkant ogen ze als "het echte " maar ik was benieuwd of zo n moderne druk iets is... Thanks !

Morits, allereerst gecondoleerd met het verlies van je vriend en beursmaatje. 73 jaar en dus in mijn grijze ogen veel te jong om deze Aardbol te verlaten.
Dan: ik heb een aantal fascimile s gekocht en vergeleken met de oude albums.
a) ze zijn in breedte en hoogte duidelijk groter;
b) de front en backcovers inderdaad prachtig
c) de illustraties best scherp, echter de diepte van de kleuren en de nuances ( zeg maar de rode koontjes op gezichten, kleurtjes op kleding ed) dat is fletser. Dat is logisch, geen "inktdruk"
Al met al wat je al zij de moeite waard en een goed en ( nog) betaalbaar alternatief.
Waarom sommige drukken zo duur zijn , ik zie ze ook met regelmaat op de veilingen, ongaat me.

Then: I bought some fascimiles and compared them with the old albums.
a) they are significantly larger in width and height;
b) the front and back covers are indeed beautiful
c) the illustrations quite sharp, but the depth of the colors and the nuances (say the red cheeks on faces, colors on clothing, etc.) that is paler. That makes sense, no "ink print"
All in all it's worth it and a good and (still) affordable alternative.
Why some prints are so expensive, I see them regularly at the auctions, I don't like.
