Nu staan boeken over goochelen deels gerubriceerd onder serie/held , omdat je goochelen als soort niet kan kiezen. Alles qua goochelen is wel te vinden maar echt 100% is het niet. Kan met 1 druk op de knop het veld in soort toegevoegd worden ? , dan corrigeer ik wat er qua goochelen in de catalogus staat wel. Maar als jullie goochelen als een algemene serie zien is het ook goed.

Books about magic are now partly classified under series/hero, because you cannot choose magic as a type. Everything in terms of magic can be found, but it is not really 100%. Can the field be added in type with 1 push of a button? , then I correct what is in the catalog in terms of magic. But if you see magic as a general series, that's fine too.

Had ik ook over nagedacht, opgezocht : Een magiër is uiteraard iemand die met magie werkt. Het geeft een sfeer weer van iets paranormaals, maar het is natuurlijk ook gewoon wat een goochelaar doet. Toch hangt er een zweem van angst en ‘foute boel’ omheen.
Maar goed ik heb soort nu op magie gezet.
NB Over Larette als goochelaar was mij niets bekend, interessant maar ook weer een triest verhaal, voor wie belangstelling heeft : ( veilige link maar zoek anders onder Larette )

Had I also thought about it, looked up: A magician is of course someone who works with magic. It conveys an atmosphere of something paranormal, but of course it is also just what a magician does. Yet there is a hint of fear and "bad things" around it.
Anyway, I've kind of put it on magic now.

In het Engels heet het weliswaar allebei "magic", maar het esoterische begrip "magie" is duidelijk iets anders dan "illusionisme". Hoewel van oudsher de kunst van vingervlugheid en misleiding door charlatans misbruikt wordt om goedgelovigen te overtuigen van het "bovennatuurlijke".
Afgezien daarvan is het natuurlijk niet iets wat onder "Soort" boek thuishoort. Het zijn feitelijk Handleidingen of Studieboeken, met goochelen als Thema.
(Maar er zijn veel meer Soorten boeken die eigenlijk meer thematisch zijn.)
Wat ons bij de vraag brengt of er ooit bij de boekenrubriek een themaveld toegevoegd gaat worden?!

Apart from that, it is of course not something that belongs under "Type" book. They are actually Manuals or Textbooks, with magic as the Theme .
(But there are many more types of books that are actually more thematic.)
Which brings us to the question whether a theme field will ever be added to the book section ?!
Ik voeg Illusionisme wel toe als Soort, want het aanbod van Harry om ze daar te verzamelen en ze bij Serie te verwijderen (daar horen ze écht niet!), mogen we niet afslaan. Zodra er een themaveld is (dat komt er echt) moeten we inhoud van Soort sowieso herdefiniëren.
I'll add Illusionism as a Kind, because Harry's offer to collect them there and remove them from Series (they really don't belong there!), we can't refuse. As soon as there is a theme field (it really will) we have to redefine the content of Kind anyway.

Gisteren stond er illusionisme/goochelen, nu slechts illusionisme. Goochelboeken zoekt men bij invoer neem ik aan eerder naar goochelen en dan slaat men wellicht weer dat ingewikkelde woord illusionisme over. Anyhow er staat nu niets meer onder serie goochelen.
Yesterday there was illusionism / magic, now only illusionism. I assume they look for magic books when they import them, and then they might skip that complicated word illusionism. Anyhow there is now nothing more under series magic.

Ik heb het oorspronkelijk door mij ingevoerde boek weggetoverd, omdat een medegebruiker bij dit nummer een goedkope herdruk aanbood voor een veel te hoog bedrag. Hij wekte de suggestie dat het om de ingevoerde, schaarse 1e druk ging. Vervolgens reageerde hij niet op mijn waarschuwingen.
Weghalen was destijds niet mogelijk. En nog steeds niet.

I have cast away the originally imported book because a co-user offered this issue a cheap reprint for a much too high amount. He suggested that it was the scarce first edition that was entered. Then he did not respond to my warnings.
Removal was not possible at the time. And still not.

Vertigo, en ik maar denken dat dat blanco boekje echt was , vandaar ook de grappen die er op volgden. In ieder geval is een boefje de poot dwarsgezet. Maar hopen dat iemand anders er niet is ingestonken.

De soort Magie was eigenlijk alleen bestemd voor degene die mijn boekje misbruikte. Het betrof overigens een zeer schaarse Vlaamse poëziebundel uitgegeven in 75 exemplaren. Het is dan ook vervelend dat iemand bij deze bundel een goedkope herdruk te koop zet, want dan lijkt mijn eigen boekje minder zeldzaam.

The kind of Magic was really only intended for the person who misused my booklet. Incidentally, it was a very rare Flemish collection of poetry published in 75 copies. It is therefore annoying that someone puts a cheap reprint for sale with this bundle, because then my own booklet seems less rare.
