Recently found a printing plate of half a page of volume 49 (1971) With mask and sword of the Red Knight.

Does anyone have any information or links about Red Knight printing plates and the question why it is only half page is. Doesn't seem logical to me.

Paul

P.S .: I'm also looking for some Red Knights and have enough duplicate comics.

The Catawiki catalog already contains various printing plates. Here for example that of the Standaard Uitgeverij.
The use of half plates probably has something to do with the printing technique.

Is it sometimes a cliché for a newspaper . In it, the stories appeared on half a page at a time.

Thnxs guys. Apart from the fact that there are so many printing plates from the same strip number 49. Maybe we can make a reprint with all the printing plates. Unfortunately I don't have number 49 yet so I don't know how many pages it is or printing plates .... lol.

Normally those clichés were often melted down after use. Far too heavy and bulky to store. And since everything is printed in offset, they are of course completely unnecessary.
