On the cover of this album 757269 seems to be a remarkable error, can anyone tell me what the error is?

Whether the drawing represents the correct representation for the location of the church / cathedral in terms of planning / geography is absolutely irrelevant to an outsider. The only thing that matters is whether the picture looks ... to me the place of the church is meaningless ...

The cathedral can never be seen from that angle (and so close) from the Scheldt.

okay, but I don't call that a remarkable mistake , but poetic freedom to beautify the picture. For example, a real mistake would be to draw glasses on someone's face in a period when there were no glasses at all. That's remarkable ... with super large capitals and bold ...

And if you already organize a competition, you should expect that not only Antwerp residents will participate ...

Glasses have been around since the Middle Ages. I thought there is someone with glasses on the Ghent Altarpiece, so that's not it.

I don't see a sunset, the light comes from a lantern on the stern of the ship.

The viewpoint on the cathedral is almost identical to the photo (" seen from City Hall ") to which cederman linked. In reality it is probably less skewed, and I do not know whether you really have such a free line of sight on the church from the Scheldt, but I would not call that "remarkable".

That view is from the Groenplaats, a market square. At that time it was a cemetery, certainly not a Scheldt or any other navigable thing.
