I have a silver quarter and a silver dime with Wilhelmina and the year 1941. I read that during the occupation our coins were minted in the US and shipped from there to our unoccupied colonies. That would have happened from 1943. The occupier confiscated silver coins and circulated zinc coins here. How about these coins?

So still beaten in the Netherlands during the occupation. I have a quarter and a dime from 1941. They were soldered together with a bracket and used as a closure for a cardigan during the war. The occupier did not notice. Wanted to add a picture, but don't see an attachment option. What is such a thing still worth? Can it be done together again without damage?
