I have about 204 old coins at home. Condition ranges from moderate to as good as new. It concerns coins in the following languages: Dutch (cents), German (Mark and Pfennig), American (dollar) and Swiss (Rappen). The coins are from 1948. The Wilhelmina, Juliana and Beatrix cents and the dollars are (I think) copper, the other coins are (probably) made of zinc or nickel. Now I have a question: How do I find out the average resale value of all these coins as a whole, in a free and effortless way? Preferably with a clear explanation, I am still new in this area

Books - Coins - Comics - Watches - Video Games - Trading Cards - Soccer Graphics - Statues

You don't understand anything, but the vast majority of your 24 posts are about the value of your very diverse stuff ....

Isn't it time you took a closer look at the catalog and then asked these questions?

I already have a lot of knowledge of several things, mainly Pokémon cards. But if it annoys you, you don't have to respond.

As you will have noticed yourself, the forum does not respond too enthusiastically to your postings. The question "what is it worth?"

How do I find out the average resale value of all these coins as a whole, in a free and effortless way? Preferably with a clear explanation

The sun rises for nothing.

Karen: it is inappropriate to address a Moderator like Ted who has been keeping our catalog and the Forum tidy for years with "if it annoys you" while there have been some collectors who have already advised you a bit more do your own research. If you cannot stand (justified) criticism, the Catawiki Forum is not a solution for you. An excuse would be in order to Ted.

Thanks Harry, but this one is for Rik.

At first glance, the following seems to apply to the value of the coins:

Ted and Rick, sorry my gray hair, but you are both so active on the Forum that my mistake may be understandable. Incidentally, I have no objection to value questions because that is also part of collecting (and the auctions), but in this Forum, collecting must remain the main part.

We generally have problems with that. Asking about the value of something is usually a covert advertisement. And we don't want that on the forum.

Arco you are absolutely right packaged advertisements but no longer respond to them, they are just looking for a marketplace or something. Learned something again. That Mr. Robert with his paintings no longer responds, apparently was also an advertisement.

Hi, I took a moment to reflect on the question I asked ... My sincere apologies for posting this topic. I was actually hoping for simpler information, as the explanations on the rest of the Internet are sometimes more difficult to understand. But in this case I should have figured it out myself first ... But I hope you understand. And rikMooren; so also sorry that I reacted a bit awkward .... I also object if this topic is closed or deleted. Sincere apologies again

Apologies accepted Karen. This discussion is closed as far as I am concerned.
