Goed punt. Is gefixed.
Groeten, Marco
When you have entered a book, you have to go to the higher level to get the button “new item”. That takes extra time if you want to enter books one after the other. With comics, that button is also on the page for an individual book.
Good point. Has been fixed. You may have to restart your browser for this change to take effect.
Greetings, Marco

Willem,
Willem,
These 3 types have been added. For the sake of clarity, I turned Photo (graphy) into Photography (about photography).
About your other questions:
2. We have to quickly make this just as with comics, that you can enter the author per story. Put it higher on our todo.
3. Couldn't this editor / compiler field just be a field where you can enter multiple values if needed? Just like authors eg
4. Would be great if you have any ideas for this!
The book homepage will soon also contain more entries for publisher and book series, including Book series is not always used properly, I see. Black bears as series and book series while in my opinion this is only a book series.

This site contains almost all official types of books (alphabetical list of terms). It's all a bit technical, but you can probably make a nice list of it

Maybe an idea that a few people are trying to get to a logical list of species? Willem, Kickered, maybe you can come up with a list together? Boekenglas (Rien) also has good ideas about species. Willem, I think you already have contact with Rien?

Neem ik hem dan op als co-auteur?
Dat lijkt me wel een goeie oplossing.
Will I include him as a co-author?
That seems like a good solution.
My classification would be 252 species and does not really match the current classification. That won't make you really happy :-)

That sounds like a lot to me. Also gets a bit clumsy with the drop-down list… :-)

I would really like it if my collections would mention the book series, so for example black bears. I find the series within that a bit more difficult, maybe it is possible to choose again within them for example havank, simenon etc.

I also miss a place for the subtitle, now I usually stop it at story title.
And perhaps also a field for original title

Couldn't the same agreement be made for the subtitle as for comics? Namely after the main title and after a dash?
Originally title? You mean by translations from another language?

Original title almost seems to me to be a condition, so indeed from another language. Then you can also make beautiful cross checks later on. So which book with which English title has been published in Dutch under which title. That will demand something from the database, but it will make the whole thing much more fun.

I thought I had asked about this before. That's right, René has indicated there that it is on his list.

When reviewing, I now come across that their own name is used to indicate an author. How can this be kept manageable, the insiders know such a name, everyone else will, for example, just use Havank, after all, that is also what the book says. I have checked if I can find this somewhere in the forum under booking, not found.

Klaas:
Klaas:
I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but if you type “Havank” at authors and wait quietly, you will automatically see his name and Havank appear behind brackets. After that, it's a matter of clicking on it.
Is that what you mean?

I don't see that when reviewing, but that's indeed what happens. As a result of your post, I also tried this myself. What I meant before was that I am not much in favor of just mentioning the real name of the writer. In the review I only see the real name, I don't see Havank, so I started to have serious doubts about it

When entering the books, it is difficult that the stories are at the bottom. If they are directly below the title, it is easier to copy and paste, now you have to scroll. In any case, it would be more pleasant if there is no obligation to insert in this field, because in 95% of the books this is the same as the title
