During the introduction of my SF/Fantasy collection, as mentioned earlier, I encountered quite a few duplicate items. Even after Rene has removed a number of them, many duplicate items have remained. The following numbers are possible:

192615
194917
195637
195923
197861
197863
198643
199577

207175
208059
211069
211071

211721
211783
211811
211819
212933

Another four duplicates that I encountered when I brought in my collection. These numbers are my guess:
191655
202127
204807
214891
Willem I have not changed the titles. It seems to me that the administrators check before deleting the items.
Now I don't think I made a mistake, but if that happened the administrator would have to re-enter the original text. That seems like unnecessary work to me.

In addition to the items that I have come across in my own collection, I have seen quite a few items that have been entered by Essef two or more times in my opinion.
I think it would be wise to go through the sf / fantasy type on this in particular.

The author Tolkien is created duplicate but also with duplicate book titles.
Tolkien, J.R.R. concern 30 items,
The later introduced Tolkien, J. R. R. a lot more.
I want to fix this,
the thirty transfers to the Tolkien, J. R. R. because this is the least work.
Or can Rene do this in a faster way?
Any suggestions for me from other collectors?
Or from Rene or Marco?
And is it an idea to call the series of these books “Tolkien”,
or, for example, to make series such as “Under the spell of the Ring”, “The Hobbit”, “Silmarilion”, “Fairytales of Tolkien”, etc?
Because there are now quite a lot of releases per story…
Please reply.

Unfortunately I cannot move those 2 curiosity items either. Ruh: I see you entered them. Could you re-enter them at Tolkien, J.R.R. ? Then I delete those 2 at “Tolkien”.

Hi Rene
I re-entered them,
Catw. No. 381449 and 381445 may be removed.
Greetings from Ruud

At MSF I changed the title several times. Often the title also mentions the print, and that does not seem entirely correct. I have also adjusted several numbers for the serial numbers. Because for example at Duin, the serial number of Duin is mentioned and not the serial number of MSF

If all goes well, and maybe other collectors want to check this out too, I have sorted all Tolkien books.
Then I tried all duplicate entries that should be deleted, in the title, duplicate with cat. No. noted.
If these have been approved, Rene, Marco or Arco will ask if they want to remove them.
As well as the two curiosity items so that the duplicate author TOLKIEN can be removed.

Has been implemented (I can also), but in the future you want to change the title to “duplicate van” instead of putting it after the title.
Works better for us due to the limitation of characters in the change form

@DeBijZaak
Duplications have been removed. but instead of the title you want to put: doublure van… instead of behind it.
See my reaction above

Writer Stephen King has a number of double entries, mainly caused by 1 person.

I noticed that with “kind” -of a book; Cookbook / Recipes and Recipe Book stands. Isn't that duplicate?

Are computer science books and (application) software books also placed in the catalog?
The latter eg Excel, Access and Windows and eg computer course books?

I just wonder.
