Jaren geleden heb ik de hilarische anekdote 'The Italian who went to Malta' gelezen in wat ongetwijfeld een ramsjboek was, gekocht bij - waarschijnlijk - De Slegte. Het boek stond vol met vergelijkbaar doldwaze korte verhalen en grappen. Helaas, bij zoeken op het web ben ik tot nog toe niet op het spoor van dit boek gekomen. Wie helpt mij aan een titel? U zou mij er een gigantisch groot plezier mee doen.

Years ago I read the hilarious anecdote 'The Italian who went to Malta' in what was undoubtedly a ram's book, bought at - probably - De Slegte. The book was full of similarly crazy short stories and jokes. Unfortunately, when searching the web I have not found this book so far. Who will help me get a title? Nee, dat was 'm niet. 'Het geroosterde speenvarken' had ik ook gevonden, maar dat is geen verzameling kolderverhalen. Het boek dat ik zoek is ouder, een uitgave uit de jaren '90, wellicht zelfs '80. Niettemin bedankt voor deze zeer vlotte reactie!
No, it wasn't. I had also found 'The Roasted Suckling Pig', but that is not a collection of crazy stories. The book I am looking for is older, an edition from the 90s, maybe even 80s. Nevertheless, thank you for this very smooth response!
