Hoi.
Koen
Hi.
Does anyone have any idea if Hans G Kresse's story "The Secret of the Moon Valley" was ever reissued?
Or are there still photos and / or information about the story available online? For example also from which number to which number it was printed in the weekly.
Thank you very much for your help.
Koen
No, nothing has ever been done with it. According to my records, the announcement appeared in issue 19 of 1947 and the 25 episodes ran from No. 20 to 44 of that year.
Koen
Hi, thanks in advance for your response. Do you also happen to know whether it is actually a full story?
Koen
Yes, Kresse has illustrated many stories for TPW at the time, including this one.

There is of course also a facsimile of the weekly magazine. Although it is not mentioned in the content, I assume the story is in bundles 2 and 3.
Hoi,

Hi,
I only saw that later myself. I had concentrated my search too much on the name of the story instead of the name of the weekly. So I'm going to take a closer look at that.
Thank you very much to both!

koen
And are we talking about full pages? Or is this story limited to a few strips per weekly?
koen
It's not a comic, it's a text story with illustrations
Ah, I didn't even know that. I mainly collect SF illustrations. Is that worth it for me, do you think? Or is the number of illustrations mainly limited?

Here are some drawings from the story. I cannot determine whether it is worth it for you. For me as a Kresse collector it is worth it.
Thank you very much for the link. In terms of illustrations, it is definitely for me.
Are we talking about one illustration per weekly? Or just a lot more or a lot less?
These are indeed stories with illustrations. I have a number of these weekly magazines for sale on Catawiki in a lot soon. besides the shredded ones, these also contain comics by Kresse (Xander and Eric de noorman)
